Redneck" Dick Murdoch & The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) (1/27/87) The tracking here is annoying as the picture is jumpy. This had good action but the picture jumping hurt the flow. Gibson, Eaton, Murdoch, & Bubba would get eliminated fairly quickly leaving Condrey & Morton who had a good few minutes of work before Morton put him away. Fun little match but not a nomination. Caballera contra Caballera: Satanico vs. Pirata Morgan (December 1986) Satanico takes it to Pirata early but he comes back and makes him submit to take the 1st fall then starts the 2nd fall on the floor beating the shit out of Satanico using the wooden support from the ring putting it on top of him and stomping on it. Satanico is a bloody mess now and Pirata is just working over the cut with punches as the referee tries to save Satanico from getting killed. Pirata is a machine though and the ref gives Satanico the 2nd fall by DQ due to excessive violence which pissed off Pirata. Satanico comes back in the 3rd fall and starts going off on Pirata hitting a big tope suicida on the floor but can't follow up because of the blood loss. Pirata comes back and hits a big missile dropkick off the top for the nearfall. Pirata then would hit his own tope suicida on the floor then went back to work on the cut with the referee warning him again and this time Pirata shoved him away with the referee calling for the DQ again. Satanico to his credit fouled Pirata as the ref was shoved so he got payback before Pirata got his head shaved. The DQ stuff took away from the match completely and there was clipping here so I'm not going to vouch for this as a nomination.
