Posted April 1, 201312 yr comment_5540687 This is mainly a Torneo de Parejas that was won by Mogur & Rayo de Jalisco Jr. filled with lots of short matches. Caballera contra Caballera: "El Monarca" Javier Cruz vs. Vulcano (5/12/89) First fall had some good action with Cruz just nailing Vulcano in the chest with a missile dropkick off the top rope to take the fall. Vulcano would fight back the next fall and got a submission to even the odds. Vulcano keeps beating on Cruz taking him to the floor to start the next fall and just kept mauling him using the King of the Mountain psychology keeping Cruz on the floor. Cruz would come back with some offense and while this is good it is below par for hair matches so they need to break out the blood here to meet the criteria. The stretch run was good but it lacked some drama although we got a great double headbutt spot with both men running at full speed meeting headfirst. The finish was kinda anticlimatic as well and this was a disappointment as there was some good stuff here but not enough for a hair match.
