April 3, 201312 yr Author comment_5540880 They show footage from the 1990 show. It's not like WCW was on fire at that point or anything, but it feels like the Attitude Era compared to WCW in June 1991.
April 12, 201312 yr comment_5541882 They seem to be resurrecting the concept of the Bash tour. World Champion contractual issues aside, with the PPV a month away shouldn't they be getting around to announcing matches at some point? This isn't the Monday Night Wars where you could book and hype a PPV card the week before the event.
May 11, 201312 yr comment_5544486 PPV a month away so lets show footage of last years show and not build up any future matches.
August 30, 201312 yr comment_5559550 I did find it odd that even in 1991 they were pushing the GAB tour seemingly more than the PPV itself. Paul E seems like a strange choice int he control center also.
June 4, 201510 yr comment_5672751 In the CC on the next week's Pro Chicago, Paul E. announces a steel cage mixed tag: himself, Arn, and Barry vs. Missy and the Steiners. I thought surely I had hallucinated that, but Tony repeats it in the next segment.
June 9, 201510 yr comment_5674118 This actually took place on the June 12th Clash card from Knoxville. There wasn't much to it: a few words from Heyman (maybe Tony was out for lunch when they wanted to tape this), a few seconds of Sting and Flair's entrances from the World title match the year before, and Scott Steiner pinning Jimmy Garvin to end their tag match, also from the year before. When you think of all the different segments from the Clash that could have used even the sliver of time this got, it's ridiculous. No matches announced, no promos, nothing. Just a waste of perfectly good TV time.
