Posted April 10, 201312 yr comment_5541702 This is the very first GCW Superstars show from Chattanooga and Michael St. John & Steve O are the hosts. This starts with a complete ripoff of the Fabulous Ones video set to Everyone Wants You for The Fantastic Ones which were Bobby Fulton & Terry Taylor. This is a exactly the same poses, wardrobe, et al and it's hilarious. Definite extra. The Fantastic Ones (Bobby Fulton & Terry Taylor) vs. Rick Cline & The Sting (6/11/83) They even come out in white tuxedos which is funny and this ends quickly. Next we get a promo with Freddie Miller and Cornette's Dynasty along with Dundee. Then we get the Dundee Bad Reputation video. "Superstar" Bill Dundee vs. Pat Rose (6/11/83) Rose gives Dundee a fight early but falls in the end and we get a Dundee promo afterwards. Cornette's Dynasty then comes out next for a promo. The Angel (Frank Morrell) & Jerry Novak vs. The Stray Cat (Danny Davis) & Ken Woodby (6/11/83) Yep that is Nightmare Danny Davis wearing a Tiger Mask variation. Next we get clips of a Dundee/Dutch match. Then we get a promo from Dutch about Dundee. Ray Candy & Steve O vs. Larry Hare & Bill Rose (6/11/83) Dundee is on commentary then jumps Steve O for the DQ until Dutch makes the save. Cornette is back out next for a promo with his King Carl Fergie. King Carl Fergie vs. Cowboy Young (6/11/83) Squash. Next we get a promo from Ellering & Iron Sheik. Dundee is out next for another promo. And now we start the last episode of GCW Superstars which by this point was called Championship Wrestling with the standard Memphis intro as GCW backed out and Jarrett is finishing out the string here. The Stray Cat (Danny Davis) vs Mr. X (7/30/83) Stray Cat looks good here. Then we get promos from Dundee & Street. "Exotic" Adrian Street vs. Jeff Young (7/30/83) Street wins easily. The Angel & Jerry Novak vs. Pat Rose & The Stray Cat (7/30/83) Stray Cat doing double duty here for some reason. Competitive match. Next we get promos from Cornette & Dundee. "Superstar" Bill Dundee vs. Jeff Young (7/30/83) Now Young does double duty and gets squashed. Then we get a promo from the Fantastic Ones. "Superstar" Bill Dundee & King Carl Fergie vs. The Fantastic Ones (Bobby Fulton & Terry Taylor) (7/30/83) Dundee now does double duty as a lot of guys no showed this last show. Decent match before the locker room clears out for a no contest.
