This starts with clips of a match between David Von Erich/Killer Brooks from Fort Worth where David put his Corvette on the line against Brooks' hair. Brooks smashes in the windshield with a sledgehammer after getting his head shaved. This was a fun segment.

Anything Goes: Fritz Von Erich vs. The Great Kabuki (2/25/81)

This is from Reunion Arena and Kabuki's first big match in this gimmick. Fritz is nothing but a brawler here and Kabuki does nothing but karate strikes with both working at a methodical pace. Great spot in the match as Fritz gets the iron claw and Hart starts punching Fritz so a fan runs to Gary and starts punching him until Gary shoves him down and the cops jump all over him. David runs out and attacks Kabuki & Hart as Kabuki had his nerve hold on Fritz. Fritz would pin Kabuki after David's assault. Fun for what it was.

Next we go to Southeastern where Terry Gordy is talking shit to Jimmy Golden's face until Rick Stewart breaks out a taped promo from Michael Hayes who is amazing here. Slam dunk extra. (2/27/82)

Tony Charles vs. Les Thornton (2/27/82)

This is a battle of the NWA World Jr. champ against the US Jr. Heavyweight champ. Damn there is some good wrestling action here then Les breaks out some fucking vicious European uppercuts to bring the aggression. Charles fights back with forearms of his own and some wicked crossfaces. Larry Brock gets bumped as Charles has Thornton in an O'Connor Roll but Tony still comes out on top as he pins Les after countering a backdrop suplex by falling on Les. Really good match and a nomination.

Next we get clips of a permed up bearded Jacques Rougeau against Jos LeDuc with LeDuc calling Jacques a test tube baby.

Then we get a promo from Gordy talking about Golden & Hayes before Hayes runs out and attacks Gordy sending him running to the dressing room as the studio goes nuts. Hayes is so awesome here as the fired up babyface. Definite extra. (2/27/82)

Jacques Rougeau vs. Jos LeDuc (2/27/82)

LeDuc attacks Rougeau at the bell and tries to put him out with a bearhug which he can't do then he ties Rougeau in the ropes before assaulting Larry Brock. Rougeau breaks free and hits a missile dropkick off the top rope then Jacques whips LeDuc before leaving the ring.

Jacques Rougeau vs. Jos LeDuc (3/13/82)

This is paced differently from the last match as Jos works holds here. Rougeau steps up the intensity first throwing some good punches before LeDuc threw him into the referee then went to the dressing room where Luke Williams handed him a rag and ether where he put out Jacques. LeDuc then grabbed some hair clippers and started shaving his head bald. I guess he hated that perm too.

Next we get clips of Robert Fuller, Golden, & Hayes vs. Ox & Sheeps.

The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams) vs. Tony Charles & Mike Jackson (3/13/82)

Charles & Jackson get quite a bit of offense in here and have the Sheeps reeling at one point. Jackson would get caught in the Sheeps' corner and they would attack Jackson's left arm viciously until Tony threw in the towel.

Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy vs. Larry Hamilton (3/6/82)

Gordy said that if he can't beat Hamilton in 5 minutes then he would give him $500. Hamilton comes out fighting getting nearfalls on Gordy while Hayes is cheering for him on commentary. Hamilton locks on the figure-four and the studio is going nuts before Gordy gets the ropes then goes back for it again with Gordy kicking him into the post. Gordy would take control immediately and nuked Larry with a piledriver but Larry gets his foot on the bottom rope out of desperation. Gordy keeps up the pressure and cranks his neck until Hayes takes off his shirt throwing it in to stop the match. Hayes then brawls with Gordy afterwards until LeDuc joins the fray. Gordy bashes Hayes right in the head with a steel chair busting him up then he piledrives Hayes on the chair.

Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy vs. Jacques Rougeau (3/6/82)

Gordy is doing double duty here. Good back and forth action to start but Jacques has the edge before they kick it up with nearfalls on an O'Connor Roll then reversal by Gordy. The fast pace maintained as both men got more nearfalls with Gordy getting the edge now using his power advantage to keep Rougeau grounded. Rougeau would come back as he slammed Gordy then Hayes & LeDuc would run out with Hamilton & Sheeps following then Jimmy Golden ran out and it was a wild brawl. The finish was what it was but damn this was a good match and this moves forward as a nomination.

"Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Bruiser Bob Sweetan (March 1982)

Sweetan attacks Dick at the bell and this is a total brawl which is helped by both men's selling here. Slater goes to work on Sweetan's left leg setting up the figure-four but Sweetan would kick him into the corner where he would follow up trying to get the piledriver on Slater. The babyface locker room would surround the ring to cheer on Slater who comes back throwing some great headbutts then just jacks Bob's jaw with punches. The heel locker room would come out next making this a defacto lumberjack match as Slater hits a backdrop suplex knocking them both out. This has become a war of atrition as both men are trying to recover from what the other dished out before Slater got the figure-four on Sweetan who is near the ropes and grabs them to break the hold. Slater then goes for a piledriver himself but Sweetan backdrops him then ties him up in the ropes where he follows with a shoulderblock. Sweetan keeps up the pressure hitting some big elbows setting up the piledriver but Slater again stops him. Slater hits a big side suplex but still can't put Sweetan away and this is a slugfest with both men just nailing each other as TV time runs out. Fantastic action here and this is a definite nomination.

Next we get clips of the Fantasia Gamble Steel Cage Match between Gordy & Hayes from Dothan on 4/24/82 and this is the legendary match where the Birds reunited after the match as the Sheeps wants to shave Hayes' head. Gordy is hesitant as LeDuc enters the cage wanting Gordy to do it but he won't as LeDuc grabs the scissors then pushes Terry. Gordy goes crazy and destroys all 3 heels. Rick Stewart interviews Hayes afterwards with Gordy busting in talking about saving him as he respected him. Gordy wanted to make a name for himself because Hayes was the star so that's why he left him with Hayes saying that he didn't do anything to him which Gordy agreed. Gordy apologizes to Hayes and demands the cameras stay on this but Hayes said they have to learn to be friends again. FANTASTIC FANTASTIC STUFF HERE. GRAND SLAM EXTRA.

"Tennessee Stud" Ron & Robert Fuller vs. The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams) (5/1/82)

This is a total brawl at the bell with the Fullers cleaning house and Robert takes the New Zealand flag where he puts it in the locker room. Robert gets worked over after Luke got pounded on to start the match and the Sheeps hammer away on Robert's left arm which they injured a while back. Ron jumps in to help and it's a 4-way brawl with Ron posting Boyd before the action resumes to normal as Robert is now juicing. Robert makes a valiant comeback trying to tag Ron which Larry Brock doesn't see but Ron doesn't care and comes in anyway. Ron hits a big dropkick on Luke with Robert covering but Boyd comes off the top to hit him hitting Luke by mistake and Robert gets the win. The studio goes complete apeshit here with people jumping in the air and this was a helluva TV match. Sheeps cut an angry promo afterwards with their torn flag and they declare war. Fullers come out for a live promo which ends up in more wild brawling Easy nomination.
