Posted May 6, 201312 yr comment_5543972 Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. "Big Bad" Bobby Duncum (11/8/78) Wahoo goes nuts at the bell attacking Duncum and wins in less than a minute. Next we get a promo with Steve Keirn & Killer Karl Kox about Keirn's right knee injury with video of Keirn in the hospital in Orlando. The angle was he was attacked in the gym by Eric the Red & Pak Song but he hurt himself in a match. Then we get clips of the Florida Tag Titles tournament on 12/6/77 in Tampa. Next we get Mr. Saito & Mr. Sato destroying Porkchop Cash & Bubba Douglas until Mike Graham & Steve Keirn show up wanting a piece but the Japanese leave. Paul Boesch of all people shows up and then demands they face Graham & Keirn. Mr. Saito & Mr. Sato (Kabuki) vs. Mike Graham & Steve Keirn (March 1978) Hiro Matsuda is on commentary here although he isn't on his countrymen's side. Mike gets battered early and often including being thrown over the top rope behind the ref's back which sets off Keirn who goes nuts bringing in Masao Hattori while Mike gets the figure-four on Sato on the floor with Graham getting counted out. Solie then asks Matsuda afterwards why his countrymen are like that and Hiro said that he is ashamed so the Japanese come back out and they attack Matsuda at the desk with Solie going nuts. Next we get clips of an Andre match against the Bounty Hunters from THE OMNI on 4/26/74. Florida TV Title: Bob Roop © vs. Jerry Brisco (March 1978) Coach John Heath is on commentary here to give the amateur style commentary for this match with the amateur legends. Dick Slater is out and has Bob Roop's trophy in his hands so something is up. Good action here before Brisco goes flying to the floor with Roop picking up Brisco and slamming him back first into the ringpost a couple of times. Roop works over Jerry before Jerry gets a grounded cobra twist to win the title. Slater has this crazy look on his face and wants to break the trophy but the referee takes it from him and hands it to Jerry. Then we get a promo from Spoiler & Duncum with clips of the Spoilers losing to Graham & Keirn thanks to Dusty then the rematch with Duncum & Spoiler #2 who were the same person but someone else was playing the role of #2. Duncum said that it wasn't really Spoiler #2 with Solie trying to trap him into admitting that he is Spoiler #2. The Spoilers vs. Tiger Conway Jr. & El Rayo (8/23/78) This is competitive with Tiger looking really good and Rayo gets offense in also but he would fall in the end. Next we get a promo from Wahoo about his relationship with Dusty and we get clips of Dusty losing to Spoiler on 8/22/78. Killer Karl Kox vs. Steve Brody (8/23/78) Squash and a promo afterwards with Kox and his imaginary friend Alex. Next we get clips of Graham/Keirn vs. Koloff/Saito from 11/15/77. Jos LeDuc & Pak Song vs. Ciclon & Omar Negro (2/28/79) Pak Song is so interesting to watch because of his look not his working ability but he was a big deal because of the look. Ciclon Negro had just turned face after being Mr. Uganda for Sonny King and is teaming with his "brother." LeDuc ties up Ciclon in the ropes while they destroy his brother then Sonny King jumps in to attack Ciclon until the faces clear the ring. Rocky Johnson vs. The Rising Sun (2/28/79) Sun is a masked guy with Masao Hattori. Johnson wins easily. Dusty is out next for a promo talking about Harley Race putting a bounty on his head with clips of Race & Kox trying to injure Dusty. Dusty tells Harley to kiss his booty. (9/13/78) Mike Graham vs. Tully Blanchard (9/9/81) This was supposed to be Graham vs. Dory for the Florida TV Title but Tully demanded this match. Dory stays at ringside as Graham dominates Tully before going to the figure-four but Tully gets in the ropes to break the hold. Tully chunks Graham to the floor so Dory goes over and chokes Graham with his towel before rolling him back in the ring. Tully is now in control with help from Dory but Graham makes his own comeback as we have some good back and forth action here. Tully would deck Bill Alfonso by mistake and then Graham got an O'Connor Roll but Tully would cut it back and using the tights got the win. Good match and I'll push it on as a low-end nomination. Charlie Cook is out next for a promo and we get clips of Dory attacking him while he was trying to help Sweet Brown Sugar. (9/9/81) Charlie Cook vs. Wild Bill Snyder (9/9/81) Cook is pissed off and destroys Snyder. Tully is out next for a promo about his feud with Graham with clips of the match shown. The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams) vs. Bubba Douglas & Sweet Brown Sugar (9/9/81) Sheeps just destroy the faces here and a funny part happens with Luke throws Boyd the weapon they use and he drops it so there is a big silver object laying on the mat before Boyd picks it up and decks Bubba to win. Next we get a promo from The Assassin about his feud with Dusty and this is fucking awesome. Definite extra. Jack Brisco vs. Mike Hammer (8/15/79) Fairly easy win for Jack. Bugsy McGraw vs. Raul Mata (8/15/79) Bugsy has some issues but prevails in the end. Next we get clips of Dusty brawling with Killer Khan after a match with Reggie Parks. (8/15/79) Tommy Gilbert & Cowboy Lang vs. "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers & Little Tokyo (September 1981) Not a long match but fun for what it was.
