Posted May 8, 201312 yr comment_5544284 This starts with a promo from Bugsy McGraw talking about winning the Florida title from Muraco in Melbourne on 8/7/80. (8/13/80) Next we get clips of Les Thornton vs. Mike Graham from Tampa Stadium on 8/3/80. Then we get the Windham/Jaggers match from 8/13/80 again. Dusty is out next saying he is done with Race so he is turning his attention to Florida business and cuts a promo on all the heels. We also get Dusty vs. Frank Dusek from Mid-South TV in a rare studio match of the era. Dusty wearing a Nike tanktop is great. (8/13/80) Next we get clips of the Last Tango In Tampa show and Solie's tuxedo here is phenomenal. Extra material. Mr. Saito & Dick Slater vs. Bubba Douglas & Scott McGhee (8/13/80) The faces give the heels fits early on especially McGhee but Slater would put him away fairly easily after that. The next show starts with Sweet Brown Sugar defending his Florida TV title against Dory Funk Jr. in a match JIP. David Von Erich gets involved on the floor but Sugar toughs it out and gets the draw. (4/7/82) Next we get Take 5 with Barbara Clary showing Dusty Rhodes singing with Willie Nelson and cuts a promo from New Japan where Dusty looking like Panama Jack is doing his thang while the New Japan dojo boys of 1982 are training in the ring. Extra material. (4/7/82) Eddie Graham then gets the key to Avon Park and they show clips of a festival. Terry Allen in a great leather sportscoat gets a plaque as well. Kendo Nagasaki vs. Andre Phillipe (4/7/82) Squash. Dillon cuts a promo afterwards about Mike Graham being scared of him. Graham gets in the ring telling Dillon to join him which he does with the kendo stick but he misses the swing. Mike tees off on Dillon and puts him in the figure-four which brings back Nagasaki and Mike gets the best of him too putting on the figure-four. Dillon comes back in trying to attack Mike but again he gets sent to the floor before Kendo would finally get the best of Mike using karate thrusts to throat and a never hold causing Mike to bleed from the mouth before the faces would clear him from the ring. Extra material. Then we get clips of Wahoo squashing Ricky Harris aka Black Bart from JCP TV. Next we get a Flair video with him arriving at a private airport cutting a promo before getting on his private jet with two women. Flair calling Joe Montana & Burt Reynolds turkeys was great. Flair is awesome here. Definite extra. Then we get clips of Murdoch vs. Sheiky from 2/9/82. Brian Blair vs. Bob Russell (4/7/82) Easy win for Brian. Then we get a promo from Jimmy Garvin who is making his return to Florida and hasn't turned heel yet. "Hacksaw" Butch Reed vs. Steve Sybert (4/7/82) Squash. Terry Allen & El Gran Apollo vs. Ciclon Negro & Don Diamond (4/7/82) Wow it's extremely odd seeing Don Diamond work as a heel here. Decent back and forth action here before TV time would run out. Now we get a rare episode of North Florida Championship Wrestling which was one of the secondary shows of the promotion. (1/4/84) This starts with Hector Guerrero working barefoot here against Tommy Wright in a good match that's JIP. (1/4/84) Next we get a promo by Mike Rotundo about Kendo Nagasaki with clips of their match from 12/27/83 in Tampa. Mr. Kareem Muhammad vs. Zane Grey (1/4/84) Total squash and a promo afterwards. Mike Davis vs. Dr. X (1/4/84) Easy win for Mike. One Man Gang vs. Frank Leopard (1/4/84) Squash. Then we get a promo by Ron Bass about the Yellow Dog and a promo by Dillon & Gang about the Bahamas & Dusty. Mulligan & Rotundo also cut promos here. Kendo Nagasaki vs. Tony D'Amato (1/4/84) Squash. Next we get Take 5 with JJ Dillon & Nagasaki talking about his relationship with him.
