Scott McGhee vs. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (8/1/84)

 

Flair is put to the test here by McGhee who he doesn't take very seriously until he starts eating offense from him. Flair tries to put McGhee away but he can't do it as Scott kicks out and keeps fighting back. McGhee would reverse a Flair suplex attempt and caught him with a German Suplex hold to beat Flair clean. Tremendous finish to a really good match and everyone goes nuts when McGhee gets the pin. This is an easy nomination.
