Posted June 8, 201312 yr comment_5547085 "Number One" Paul Jones & Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. Ole Anderson & Super Destroyer (October 1981) Grappler is on commentary here so you can believe he will get involved. Some good back and forth action here with everyone getting some offense in working at a fast pace. Fun seeing Jones & Super D work against each other after the heated Mr. Florida feud a year earlier. Jake is really fun here getting fired up throwing fast punches on Super D's head. Super D though would go for the Superplex but Jake counters with a punch then hits his kneelift off the middle rope in a great spot for a nearfall. Jake then goes for the Super D's mask and rips it off before Grappler could get the towel on his head and you get a nice look at Scott Irwin's face before Jake cradles him up to get the win. Very fun sprint here and I'm throwing it up a low-end pick.
July 11, 201312 yr comment_5551143 I thought this was all right, but I will push it forward because I think we need a Paul Jones match on the set. The action was fast paced. The finish was awesome. I dug Jake's and the Super Destroyer's interactions.
