One Man Gang & "Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Mike George & Vinnie Valentino (3/9/83) Odd seeing George here as a babyface lowcarder. Then we get a promo afterwards with Humperdink and Gang. Next we get promos from Hart, Humperdink, Gang, Valiant, & Bugsy for the Richmond show on 3/18. Dory Funk Jr. vs. Jim Burnett (3/9/83) Squash. Valiant & Bugsy are out next for a promo on the House of Humperdink followed up by a promo from Piper. Jim Nelson, Sweet Brown Sugar, & Johnny Weaver vs. Ben Alexander, Masa Fuchi, & Bill White (3/9/83) Good win for the faces. Valentine is out next talking about wanting to be the world champ. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Ron Rossi (3/9/83) Valentine does commentary for the match and he takes a few shots at Flair so Flair comes out after the match and tells him that if he thinks he is better than him then he should show it. US Heavyweight Title: Greg "The Hammer' Valentine © vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper (3/9/83) This was on MACW as Piper challenged Valentine with Greg accepting. Piper is out for blood and just mauls Hammer before throwing him over the top rope by mistake for a DQ. Both are upset so they start back going at it with Valentine using a cheapshot to get the advantage on Piper where he methodically works over Piper before going for the figure-four which Piper would reverse. Piper now comes firing back with punches and goes nuts on Valentine before Slater runs in for the DQ. Good stuff. Then we get promos from Flair & Valentine about their match in Richmond on 3/18. Mike Rotundo vs. "Golden Boy" Chick Donovan (3/9/83) Spotlight match for Mike. Next we get Flair shaking hands and welcoming Gary Hart before cutting a fun promo about him being Flair.
