Last few minutes. Giant was on his own here, as Luger had an arm injury and Bischoff wouldn't allow Luger clearance to work this match. Nash powerbombs The Giant in an impressive spot. Luger finally comes out to be in his partner's corner. Bischoff tries to cut him off and Luger throws him aside. Luger racks Nash, and he and The Giant win the WCW tag titles. For good measure, The Giant chokeslams Hall and has the referee count him down for the pin too, with the story being that he did that to ensure that Bischoff couldn't reverse the decision. A for effort, but I'm pretty sure this decision will not stand.

Crowd comes alive when Nash powerbombs The Giant which went off without a hitch. Lumberjack Luger comes back with a great hot tag wailing on everyone. He racks Nash in another great spot and Nash gives up. In some regards, the NWO was of course booked strong, but in the big PPV matches, Hall and Nash have looked fairly week as Giant was more than holding his own 2 on 1 here before the belt and Syxx turned the momentum.

Nash's powerbomb of The Giant looked great. Luger makes a late appearance and wants the tag from the Giant. Felt like a total heel turn in the making of him attacking the Giant. But he takes out both Hall and Nash to win the tag titles. As clean as it gets so a reversal of this finish seems ridiculous. Tony is already talking about that this finish will probably be disputed.

Amazing heat. Huge Luger chants before he came out. Say what you want about the Outsiders, but they did make the Giant look like a monster, bumping all over the place for him and not being able to get the best out of him without cheating despite this being basically 3 on 1. The powerbomb spot was terrific, and Nash sold the hell out of the toll it took out of his back. Luger gets a monster pop, and him throwing Bischoff on the side on his way to the ring is fantastic. This reeks of Dusty finish though, and this is basically where the WCW tag titles die.

Good finish in a vacuum, with Nash hitting a great power bomb on the Giant but throwing his back out--the perfect set-up for Luger's Rack. It occurs to me that this might be the first and only time I've ever seen Diesel/Nash submit. Yeah, this has Dusty finish written all over it, but it's a feelgood moment by itself.

This was good overall, I thought. I watched the full match and the handicap part had a nice slow build to it, capped off by Nash hitting the monster powerbomb on Giant. Luger's appearance and the heat it garnered bodes well for his run over the summer.

I feel like tomorrow night Bischoff will take the titles back for Hall & Nash.  And probably bitch a lot about Lex.  I did like the way they did this a lot and it is easily the best of the 3 matches as far as a satisfying finish for the crowd.
