Taz with another great promo. I don't know what the issue is. Either Paul Heyman is a genius for producing all these guys to seem far better than they really are, or the big promotions had no idea what they had. I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Taz is the first guy I can remember where WWE gave him a big push and then a quick, deliberate de-push with the "see how he does when de-pushed" rationale. The Taz vs Bossman and Albert feud was garbage and made Taz look both tiny and ineffective.

In the end, Taz was going to retire soon because of his neck, but still... WWF could have done a lot more with him considering how hot he was in early 2000.

Yeah, I'm a little foggy on why Sabu had to keep his word for so long not to wrestle Taz. But this was an effective and LONG build, to the point where I don't know if the match can possibly live up to the hype. Taz repeats himself a little here but cuts another quietly intense promo.

In addition to the stop-start push, Taz in the WWF was sunk by the Radicalz falling into the company's lap a week after his debut.
