August 24, 201312 yr Author comment_5558265 Raven still isn't talking. Mike Tenay is so awkward. Stevie Richards interrupts, back in his subservient role. Was Stevie jumping a surprise at the time? Stevie sends Tenay packing so he can conduct the interview -- which makes him a babyface in my eyes -- and tries to do the interview himself to no avail.
September 15, 201312 yr comment_5562901 He had retired due to neck injury which is why he missed title match against Funk at WrestlePalooza. I watched the match he got injured which was four way elimination and it was hard to tell as Styles was playing up the neck issues during match to where you felt like it was an angle. But here is in WCW and back to being Raven’s lackey.
November 16, 201311 yr comment_5572926 I had forgotten that Stevie debuted so quickly as ECW now all of a sudden feels fairly gutted with these two. Sad to see Stevie in this role as I think he could have been a big player in ECW if he had stayed.
June 25, 201411 yr comment_5609509 Raven looks totally wasted, which he probably was (he said it himself, the Nitro years were a pretty big blur). Stevie Richards in WCW for a few years was something I would have loved to watch. He already got bitchslapped here. Poor thing.
November 8, 20159 yr comment_5709082 All that endless teasing and non-delivery of the big Raven/Richards split in ECW actually has a payoff--this role is a retrogression for Stevie, but not as big of a one as it could have been...if that makes any sense. Richards tells Mike to go ask the Mexican wrestlers what their favorite movies are and takes over the interview. He isn't any more successful than Tenay.
