August 31, 201312 yr Author comment_5559699 Ted DiBiase comes out with Rick and Scott Steiner. He does an interview to turn himself babyface, which just feels weird, but it's my understanding he wanted to turn at the time because of his faith. He has his famous WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION blunder when talking about the tag titles. The Outsiders interrupt with Hall doing the talking. The Steiners are really good, but they're better and the belts provide it. Nash tells DiBiase that he joins the Steiners and he's a dead man, then gets in a crack that the only reason they picked him up is to have someone to read menus while they are on the road. DiBiase promises new tag team champions and makes a big deal out of saying WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING.
September 10, 201312 yr comment_5561639 The magic of live TV. No match for Booker's promo but this is pretty good.
September 20, 201312 yr comment_5563819 Bad guy DiBiase would not have made that mistake. Steiners will take those World Wrestling Fed... (looks to Okerlund to bail him out). DiBiase finishes his promo to make sure they everyone knows they are going after the WCW Tag titles.
January 22, 201411 yr comment_5581526 Ted turns face to team up with the Steiners. Not the best fit for Ted and I honestly don't know if he had anything else left to give. At least Ted only gives the F of federation out. Feels really long for the Steiners and Outsiders to still be feuding.
August 2, 201411 yr comment_5616739 DiBiase's promo was pretty decent until the fuck up, which was quite funny. But he was done the day Uncle Eric took his role in the nWo. DiBiase had been pretty good at first, better than during his ill-fated WWF run as a manager, but really never accomplished much. And turning face and joinning the Steiner came from nowhere and really felt like a nothing news. Plus the Steiners/Outsiders feud had overstayed its welcome.
November 28, 20159 yr comment_5712291 Ted throws one last hail mary pass for relevance. The era of managers--particularly babyface ones--was past at this point. Not a change for the better, but a fact. You'd think they'd let the Steiners say *something* since they're in Detroit, but DiBiase does all the talking. I forget when the titles actually switched but Road Wild would be past time for this chase to end for good.
October 15, 20168 yr comment_5771877 I had no idea about the fuck up and laughed pretty hard. Kudos to commentary team for putting this over as a huge defection.
