September 2, 201312 yr Author comment_5559965 Rick Rude is back (after wrapping up in ECW over the weekend). I presume the indefinite suspension over the comments regarding the Big Boss Man's mother was lifted. This interview is just a series of lame insurance puns, which I think is a first and last for a wrestling promo.

Raw must have been sponsored by State Farm with the insurance quips.
February 3, 201411 yr comment_5584617 Feels odd to me to hear Rude's old music in WWF at this time. Rude does the ol Atlantic City spiel from Wrestlemania 5. This promo was really weird with all the insurance talk and the crowd died pretty quickly.
December 9, 20159 yr comment_5714148 Rude doesn't actually answer any pertinent questions and makes a bunch of references to famous insurance company slogans. I still don't get why they felt the need to ambiguate his alignment with Shawn and Helmsley but I admit I kind of like the idea of Rude running a wrestling protection racket--sort of a precursor to the APA.
May 24, 20178 yr comment_5801680 Rude is back in the WWF! He does his famous shtick at the start but says "....what a real man has to say" instead. Not much of a promo with him just talking in insurance speak about paying premiums & the job will get done. Rude in the WWF at this time is weird.
