Great to see Eddy's heel run finally kicking in. This is a really fun TV match, with three of the four guys being excellent and the other not being put in positions to have to do much and thus being effective. Crowd is loud for Mongo. This is a HOT crowd.

Huge shoulder block by Benoit on Guerrero. Mongo wants Jarrett. This was fun and Mongo showed he could be fine as part of a tag team. Great crowd.

good little action match with the crowd including an 11 year old Chad going nuts. These were the best seats I have ever had at a major wrestling show as we were setting third row to the far right of the camera. Eddy is a heel where he belongs.

One sequence I really enjoy during this time with Jarrett and Benoit matches is when Jarrett slides underneath Benoit's legs to stand up into a chop. It always gets a nice pop.

Jarrett the chickenshit managed by Debra the trophy wife was so much better than Jarrett the "tough guy" managed by Debra the flasher.

Hot TV match with three really strong workers. Love this chickenshit team of Guerrero & Jarrett.

Glad to finally see some attention played to this angle--McMichael winning the U.S. title was a little much, but Jarrett as the Horsemen Wannabe was a little mid-card angle that was way more fun than it had any right to be. HUGE crowd reactions for everything--watch this and try to dismiss Benoit as a Vanilla Midget. He and Mongo are both over like crazy here, and while Birmingham is a classic southern wrasslin' town it's not exactly Prime Horsemen Country either. Well-laid-out match, too--McMichael comes in and they immediately take his leg out, meaning Mongo can simply lay on the mat and yell while Jarrett and Eddie do literally all the work as they try to take out Mongo's knee. It also provides a cover for any blown spots by Mongo to come. Clusterfuck finish that ends with McMichael popping Jarrett with the U.S. belt to give Benoit a win.
