Jim Cornette complains about use of the word "icon" in wrestling and talks about how horrible the cage match was last night. He talks about how Hogan, Savage and Piper don't know when to quit. He mentions the Undertaker, Ric Flair and Steve Austin as better choices, and it's funny that he doesn't put Flair in that same too old category.

This is the one with Cornette's famous line, "Hulk Hogan, you are a household word--but so is garbage, and it stinks when it gets old, too." There was probably some Vince hand puppetry going on here but as usual, I think most of what Cornette says comes from a real place. And I'm growing sick of "icon" talk too, Jim.

Cornette rants about the Hogan-Piper cage match from Halloween Havoc the night before. He says too many wrestlers use the word "icon" to describe themselves. He takes digs at Shawn & Bret which is interesting. I wonder how they felt about that. He praise Taker, Flair, & Austin as well here. Fun segment even if I think it's silly to talk about WCW as much as he does here on WWF TV.
