The Rock says a lot of fans have asked how he feels about the elderly and social security. He's decided as long as his pockets are lined with green, he doesn't give a damn. I love this period when Rock started talking about real issues in his promos every week. Rock has improved tenfold on the mic just in the month of December. Anyway, Rock makes a Faarooq/Shamrock match for next week, which appears to be news to Faarooq.

I hope that Gennifer Flowers interview from WM14 made the '98 Yearbook as it's pretty much the perfect capper to this little period in Rock's career. Rock calls off a planned NOD sneak attack on Shamrock after he beats Kama Mustafa, and he takes it upon himself to match Shamrock up with Faarooq next week. Faarooq is incredulous.

Shamrock taps out Kama & The Rock comes out. Rock cuts a promo sharing his thoughts on the elderly & social security. Amusing. He tells Shamrock that next week he'll have to face the leader of The Nation of Domination, Faarooq. Faarooq's reaction is great. The Rock-Faarooq feud is about to be in full swing. It's one of my favorite feuds of the early Attitude years from what I've seen so I'm interested to see how it holds up.
