September 21, 201312 yr Author comment_5564115 Cornette rants about the state of wrestling as we go into 1998. This is the most spot-on rant he has done so far. Wrestling fans watching a wrestling program want to see wrestlers wrestle, he says. Indeed.
September 21, 201312 yr comment_5564204 On a show where we had Goldust dressed like Baby New Year and thrown into a goddamn port-o-john, Cornette's words really screamed true to me.

October 4, 201311 yr comment_5566140 Yes, we all watch wrestling shows to see actual wrestling. He doesn't care for WCW, NWO, ECW or WWF. He respects tradition. It's a good rant but his response with the NWA didn't exactly meet expectations.
October 29, 201311 yr comment_5569463 On some of these rants Cornette was just being a mouthpiece for McMahon. I think it's fair to say that these weren't Vince's views on wrestling.
July 8, 201411 yr comment_5611553 This did feel like a more sincere attempt at what Jim actually feels. In fact I think this was the debut episode of the Jim Cornette Experience. He gives a good rant that carries a lot of sentiment but I don't believe his stances are shared by the majority of the wrestling audience.
March 29, 20169 yr comment_5735998 Does *anyone* from the South like Connecticut? I haven't been there myself but man does that place seem to angry up the blood in these people. This is definitely Cornette shooting but all this *really* is, is a set-up for the ill-fated NWA quasi-invasion. I'm not a guy to fetishize NYC or any particular part of it but there's honestly a bit of over-the-top regionalism here that I'm not comfortable with.
May 28, 20178 yr comment_5802247 This is the best one yet with Cornette saying there's no real wrestling anymore & just "Sports Entertainment" instead. He says in 1998 he's going to bring real wrestling back to the WWF. The start of the NWA invasion.
