Then we get clips of another match this time with Sandy Scott as the special referee that sees Dick Slater get involved. Flair narrates the clips here and cuts a good promo afterwards. Next we get promos from Slater, Gary Hart, Kabuki, & Briscos about the show in Richmond on 8/19. Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Masa Fuchi (8/3/83) This sounds like a helluva match but Fuchi was a jobber here. Then we get a promo from Slater, Valentine, & Paul Jones about the bounty on Ric Flair's head. Extra material. NWA World TV Title: The Great Kabuki © vs. Rick McCord (8/3/83) Squash. Next we get promos from Bugsy, Valiant, Flair, & Steamer about the show in Richmond on 8/19. The Assassins vs. John Bonello & Brett Hart (8/3/83) Squash. Then we get a promo from Piper & Steamer with Piper wearing a strap around his neck and acting crazy. Bugsy McGraw vs. Jerry Grey (8/3/83) Squash. Next we get the legendary Race bounty promo on Flair with the belt and money in the briefcase. Bob Orton Jr. vs. Ben Alexander (8/3/83) Easy win for Bob. The Assassins vs. Mike Davis & Mike Rotundo (8/3/83) Davis & Rotundo would win the US Tag Titles a few months later in Florida but here their purpose is to make the Assassins look good and this was a fun little match. The Great Kabuki & Magic Dragon vs. John Bonello & Rick McCord (8/3/83) The Japanese win a competitive match. Then we get the World Wide version of Flair narrating the Race matches and this is good stuff. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs. Brett Hart (8/3/83) The fans want Piper and chant loudly but Valentine doesn't care and puts away the future Barry Horowitz with ease. Steamer then comes out and gives an update on Jay Youngblood's injury thanks to the Brisco's. Piper comes out and again says that he would be Steamer's partner in the battle. "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Bill Howard (8/10/83) Squash. Next we get a taped promo from Race about the bounty begging for bounty hunters. Flair is out next with Bob Caudle talking about the bounty and we get clips of Briscos vs. Steamer/Youngblood where Jay got injured. Flair sends out a warning to all the heels saying the faces are coming for them. Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. Tracy Stohr (8/10/83) Squash. "Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Keith Larsen (8/10/83) Then we get more promos from Slater, Paul Jones, Jake, Hart, Kabuki, & Briscos for the 8/19 show in Richmond. Rufus R. Jones & Mike Rotundo vs. Bob Brown & Jerry Grey (8/10/83) Easy win for the faces. Rufus cuts a taped promo next talking about beating Dory for the Mid-Atlantic title. Valiant then joins him to talk about getting rid of Humperdink & Gang and focusing on Gary Hart & Kabuki next. Assassin #2 (Hercules Hernandez) vs. Mike Davis (8/10/83) Davis is pesky but Assassin is too much for him. Next we get more promos from Bugsy, Rufus, Valiant, Flair, & Steamer for the 8/19 show in Richmond. NWA World TV Title: The Great Kabuki © vs. Joel Deaton (8/10/83) Squash. Slater then cuts a promo with Bob Caudle about Flair calling him out followed up by Jones, Dory Jr. , & Jake about Rufus.
