The matwork early was very strong like the week before as they were great at keeping everything moving along with no real slow spots. Cota hit a nice belly to belly throw for a nearfall before a swanky victory roll to take the 1st fall. Cota came back in the 2nd fall using more impact offense working over Rocca's neck viciously eventually getting him in a Reinera to take the fall. The 3rd fall started as a complete contrast to the last two as both men were working at a fast pace and it ended very quickly as well as Rocca got Cota in an O'Connor Roll but Cota pulled his shoulders down with his arms and Rocca got counted out. The last fall was extremely short but the finish was kinda cool and the rest of the match was solid as well. I prefer the week previous over this one but this is still a pretty damn solid match and an easy nomination. Next we get the Moment of Silence for the death of El Santo and this is a slam dunk extra. (2/10/84) Espectro Jr./Herodes/Sangre Chicana vs. Cien Caras/Guerrero Azteca/Tony Salazar (2/10/84) Decent action to start nothing special with Guerrero & Espectro looking the best I thought. The 1st fall seemed like forever before finally ending after Herodes pounded down Salazar. Tecnicos made a comeback in the 2nd fall with Cien working over Espectro's leg continuing with everyone else getting their shine as well before Herodes punted Salazar in the balls for the DQ. The 3rd fall started out with everyone brawling with each other before the rudos concentrated on ripping Cien's mask which they almost pulled it off before it turned into the Salazar/Herodes show where Herodes tried to punt Salazar again but ate a kick to the balls of his own for the DQ. Fun for what it was but no nomination. Ringo Mendoza/Mascara Ano Dos Mil/Halcon Ortiz vs. Coloso Colosetti/Mocho Cota/El Supremo (2/10/84) Cota brings a fucking snake to the ring which even though it's small it looks awesome. I dug the Ringo/Coloso stuff early on as Coloso was acting like a charging bull only to eat hiptosses. Halcon Ortiz is built like Mexican Mr. Saito and has almost the same tan and he puts Cota in a Tapatia to take the 1st fall. Lots of fun brawling in the 2nd fall as Coloso & Cota bring a roughhouse type style here as they gang up on Ortiz then Coloso drops Ringo with a slam to even the falls. Rudos continued their gang warfare to start the 3rd fall but Ortiz would post Coloso on the floor then came back in the ring to kick Cota's ass while MA2K went after Supremo's mask after Supremo went for his earlier. The stretch run was fun as everyone were taking turns going after each other and a nice finish sequence. I dug this match and I'm pushing this forward as a low-end nomination. Lizmark vs. El Faraon (2/10/84) What we have is very good but it cuts off before the end of the match.
