Tony Benetto/El Supremo/Talisman vs. Atlantis/Americo Rocca/Samurai Shiro (9/28/84)

 

Benetto is without hair and Talisman is without mask after the Anniversario. The early part of the match is Talisman having issues with Atlantis & Rocca in between Atlantis ruling it on the mat against Benetto. Shiro comes in and immediately hits ASS BASED OFFENSE on Supremo sending him flying to the floor. Atlantis & Benetto were fun here and I loved Benetto taking a bump from the top to the floor off an Atlantis dropkick. Tecnicos take the 1st fall and the rudos come back in the 2nd totally beating up Shiro and Rocca. The 3rd fall saw some good action from everyone with Atlantis ripping Supremo up with a tope suicida on the floor leaving Rocca & Talisman in the ring with Talisman sneaking a foule to pin Rocca. This had some fun moments but not enough for a nomination.

 

Los Infernales (Espectro Jr./MS-1/Satanico) vs. Cien Caras/El Egipcio/Mocho Cota (9/28/84)

 

Caras is subbing for Sangre Chicana here who was suspended. Bald MS-1 is pissed off here and the Infernales in general are just dicks to the tecnicos in the 1st fall which was fun. The domination continues in the 2nd fall as the tecnicos have no chance so Cota just foules the shit out of MS-1 to get the DQ. Rudos win in a wash.

 

Javier "El Monarca" Cruz/Impacto/Solar II vs. El Dandy/Franco Colombo/Panico (October 1984)

 

Hey it's Dandy and the EMLL booking committee. Dandy immediately takes an insane bump to the floor not even a minute into the match. After some good action, Dandy just crushes Solar & Javier with a senton bombs off the top rope to take the fall. The Dandy show continues in the 2nd as he is outshining everyone else here in everything he did. Solar II hit some nice Quebradoras and a nice tope suicida on Panico. Dandy would try for a victory roll but Javier turned into a sweet Electric Chair to take the 2nd fall. Dandy sells it like he got killed laying like a fucking statue prompting the referee to stop the match as he couldn't continue. I'm torn on this one because of the finish but Dandy was so fucking great here I'm putting it on the block.
