Posted August 7, 201312 yr comment_5555116 Las Estrellas Blanca Jr. y II vs. Negro Cuellar & Simbolo (5/19/89) This is JIP and a nice lucha opener. Estrella Blanca I & Thunder vs. Cesar Furiel & El Macho (5/19/89) This was hit and miss and had some comedy going on that didn't look very good. These guys were moving very slow at one point and I hope that was part of the schtick. All-Star/Cachorro Mendoza/Rokambole vs. Bestia Salvaje/Hombre Bala/Verdugo (5/19/89) Bestia takes a crazy bump to the floor early on which is great and highlights the 1st fall which had some fun action along with Bala & Verdugo constantly hitting each other by mistake. All-Star hit a sweet missile dropkick dead in Bestia's chest to win the 1st fall. The 2nd fall sees Bestia take yet another crazy bump to the floor but the rudos regrouped and eventually got the fall. The rudos continued their domination in the 3rd fall as they rip up Rokambole's mask but the tecnicos fire it up and take the battle to the floor where all six men brawl with each other for a bit before restoring order. All-Star would hit a nice tope suicida on Verdugo but he would trip up Rokambole on the floor where he got his mask immediately ripped off by Bala for the DQ. Bestia's spots were great but the rest of the match was just okay nothing special. El Egipcio/Fuerza Guerrera/Hijo del Gladiador vs. El Dandy/Apolo Dantes/Mogur (5/19/89) Egipcio is pissed at Mogur and takes him to the floor immediately before being separated but they would start the match against each other with Egipcio viciously ramming Mogur into the turnbuckles then Fuerza doing the same with Dandy. This set the pace for the fall as the rudos just totally beat the crap out of the tecnicos with Dandy eating a type of the Alabama Slam by Fuerza which looked very hurty to take the fall. Fuerza then decided to start biting Dandy's head along with using his finger nails to grind Dandy's head trying to get blood. Gladiador then goes after Apolo trying to choke him out with the bottom rope. Dandy then goes nuts on Fuerza kicking him like crazy and his partners fire it up at the same time and they take the battle to the floor. The tecnicos would then even up the falls with Dandy pinning Fuerza and Apolo pinning Gladiador then Dandy started untying Fuerza's mask trying to take it off. Next we get the camera catching a fan trying to push Egipcio to the ring so Egipcio just shoves him to the floor. The 3rd fall saw the action stay heated with Dandy hitting Fuerza on the head and knocking his mask completely off which was great. Lots of hatred here between the rivals which set up the finish of Mogur & Egipcio with Mogur locking on a funky submission to win. Very fun match where they teased blood and didn't deliver but it didn't matter much in the end as the action was very good. This goes on the block as a low-end nomination. Atlantis/Ringo Mendoza/Rayo de Jalisco Jr. vs. Sangre Chicana/Satanico/Super Halcon (5/19/89) Rayo was talking to Dr. Morales on the floor so Halcon dropped down and just punched him in the head which was great. I dug the Atlantis/Satanico exchanges early and Rayo/Halcon brought the heat with Halcon acting like a dick. Tecnicos take the 1st fall then they start the 2nd fall working over Chicana's left arm before Chicana snaps and goes after Satanico where they fight each other to the floor. Satanico throws Chicana to the wolves where they take him out to win in straight falls. Chicana & Satanico then had a staredown afterwards.
