Texas Bullrope Match: Dr. Tom Prichard vs. Roy Lee Welch (12/15/86)

This feels like a solid nomination. It's a bit on the short side for a bull rope match, but their was a lot of kick ass brawling, and using the bull rope as a weapon. The going for 4 corners could have been done better. It didn't bother me because the babyface took his shot and made it. So Pritchard is at least a smart babyface. When RLW failed the 1st 2 times it came across as a heel panicking and attempting before he did enough damage to the face. Pritchard is a bloody mess. I love RLW King schtick along with Flair's entrance music.

Texas Bullrope Match: Dr. Tom Prichard vs. Roy Lee Welch (12/15/86)

Good action early seeing Prichard juice from the rope shots. This is pretty good stuff here as Welch is firing away with shots with Prichard taking them and surviving before he drags Welch around the ring to touch 3 corners until Welch tackles him into the 4th corner to win. The one thing about this match I didn't like was there weren't any teases around the turnbuckles as Prichard won on his first attempt. Welch was pissed afterwards and tried to hang Prichard with the rope until Street made the save. The lack of teasing the turnbuckles hurts this match in my eyes as a nomination.
