Chain Match for the Universal Heavyweight Title: Carlos Colon © vs. Bruiser Brody (1/23/85) They give the date of 2/23/85 for this but Brody was in Japan so I'm going with January to be safe. Colon was all over Brody to start but Brody would soon take control and used the chain to batter Colon inside and outside the ring forcing juice from Colon. Colon is spirited as shit though and batters Brody bloody as the fans go nuts as Colon touches the corners but Brody would stop him at 3. Brody does more selling than normal here which makes sense since he is facing Colon and he is into this like he would be facing Baba. The finish saw Hugo & Barabbas get involved but it was fine and the fans loved it as Colon won. The heels beat on Hugo until Colon broke free and cleaned house. Very fun match and this moves forward fairly easily.

Bruiser Brody vs. The Invader (Spring 1986) Eerie watching Brody work against his murderer. This starts out with some basic action but it isn't long before Brody sends Invader to the outside where he threw him into a table standing up at ringside then used a chair on him. Invader's white mask is now covered in crimson and Brody is vicious working over the cut with Invader valiantly fighting back but Brody is too powerful for him. Brody puts Invader in the tree of woe and stomps him out until Victor Jovica runs out which sends Brody running to the floor where he throws chairs in the ring before leaving. Invader is a fucking mess.

Bruiser Brody vs. Abdullah the Butcher (2/28/87) Bloody brawl all over the stadium and standard fare for them. Bruiser Brody vs. Hercules Ayala (4/25/87) The fans are completely nuts for Brody here and he gets like an ECW fans to Hack Myers response every time he hits Ayala. They brawl from the ring to the floor and it's a double countout. Fun for what it was mainly because of the crowd.

Bruiser Brody vs. Mr. Kareem Muhammad (7/18/87) Another big man slugfest that goes all over the stadium for a double countout. No blood here surprisingly.

Bruiser Brody vs. Grizzly Boone (1/6/88) These two worked against each other for Crusher Blackwell's Southern Championship Wrestling in Georgia so they had a past together. This is a wild brawl to start as both men beat the crap out of each other on the floor with the referee trying to get control but failing. Brody wins this with the King Kong Kneedrop off the top rope and the fans went apeshit. Another fun big man brawl.

Next we get a tag match between Ninja Express vs. Brody/Rocky Johnson which I've seen already.

Gillette Cup - Round 1: Dory Funk Jr. vs. Bruiser Brody (2/27/88) Dory went hardcore here using a chair and other foreign objects to pound on Brody but Brody would return the favor and just clocked Dory with a chair which popped the fans huge. After that the match just fell apart and Dory would win by countout. This wasn't good at all.

Bruiser Brody vs. El Solitario (not the famous one) (7/13/88) Squash.

Bruiser Brody vs. Assassin #1 (7/13/88) Not the famous Assassin.

Bruiser Brody vs. El Exotico (7/13/88) Squash and the last televised Brody match before his death.

Then we get a wild Brody/Abby brawl from the taping that is a definite extra.

The Invader v. Bruiser Brody - 1988

The youtube description alleges this may have been their last match. It's from Trinidad and appears to take place on a rain soaked tennis court. Honestly I thought this was really good work from Invader as Brody was half assing it in shitty restholds, and yet this was still a pretty compelling match. They end up brawling to the floor and Invader bleeds a huge gusher through the mask eating chairshots, post shots and a shot into a table in the process. This was on it's way to winning me over entirely when it just ended. This is on Bruiser Brody in Puerto Rico disc and is a possible EXTRA

Bruiser Brody v. Hercules Ayala

I cannot believe Walgreens was sponsoring WWC in 1987. This was actually as good a Brody match as I've ever seen against an opponent who wasn't very good in his own right. Ayala seemed pushed to work really hard, they kept this short and while nothing in this was particularly great, this was the sort of bomb throwing slugfest you would hope to see out of guys like this. Too short to nominate with a non-finish, but surprisingly watchable.

Bruiser Brody v. Grizzly Boone

Short but surprisingly fun match. That is the key to Brody, don't give him longer than five minutes to fuck everything up. Anyhow there his bumping was over the top stupid in this at times, but I liked Boone and the crazy stuff with the destruction of the table was fun.

I've seen the rest of this too
