This is from Philly and the heat is off the charts. They also have another one from NY later in the month and it's really similar. So I don't think both are necessary. This isn't the blood feud yet. We are at the Bruno showing Larry Z he's full of shit about beating him in training.

They really milk the crowd to start. Bruno busts out some arm drags that frustrates Larry Z. Bruno rides Larry Z on the mat. The crowd is eating this up. Larry works an abdominal stretch that Bruno escapes. Bruno hooks on the full nelson. We get a rope break and Larry Z catches Bruno off the break. Larry whips Bruno into the corner a couple times and works the back. While Bruno is trying to tear Larry's arm off. I mean this is nasty hate filled arm work. Hammerlocks and even drops a knee that looks like he's trying to seperate Larry's arm. This is my favorite part of the match. Overall a solid match that is over huge with the crowd.

BRUNO SAMMARTINO vs LARRY ZBYSZKO (03/01/1980; WWF Philadelphia Spectrum; 00:22:29)
MIDDLE NOMINATION. Bruno eats up most of the match but Larry is great at bumping and stooging for Bruno. Larry was on offense a criminally short time. I actually really like the ending with Bruno losing it and not breaking the choke on Larry. Let’s see if any of these really break out from the pack.

BRUNO SAMMARTINO vs LARRY ZBYSZKO (03/01/1980; WWF Philadelphia Spectrum; 00:22:29)

It’s interesting because you may expect Bruno out for blood after what Larry did, but this is wrestled as Bruno looking to embarrass Larry by wrestling the scientific match they were supposed to have, only Bruno is taking it seriously this time. It’s one way to get revenge, as Bruno is able to counter Larry’s holds, but Larry has to resort to doing rope breaks.  The crowd is here for everything Bruno does. The hammerlock and arm wrench portion gets a bit repetitive and long, although it does not lose the crowd who want Bruno to get his revenge. This does play into the last minutes of the match, as Larry starts stalling (having realized he’s being outclassed by Bruno) and it aggravates Bruno who wants to get his hands on Larry. Zbyszko kicks Bruno in the gut and abandons all pretence of embarrassing Bruno scientifically, resorting to stomps, kicks and punches. Larry continues attacking Bruno with brawling tactics and some king of the mountain. Bruno finally rolls back in but Larry continues the attack. Bruno gets to his feet and despite Larrys continued punches, Bruno will not go down.  Finally. Bruno fires up and just foes off on Larry and tosses the ref when he tries to stop Bruno. Bruno just continues attacking Larry as the ref is down, eventually calling for a dq. A group of faces come in to try to get Bruno off Larry before he chokes him to death.

At the moment I’d say a middle to solid nom, but I need to watch the rest of the feud.
