He spent the rest of the match fighting dirty and going after the cut. Borne showed great fire in his comebacks, and the match featured some top-notch punch exchanges. This was an opener so they didn't have time to build it into something epic. And the draw finishes are always letdowns. But this was too much fun not to nominate. New Portland Disc 45
May 19, 20169 yr comment_5753689 Matt Borne vs. Doug Somers (2/18/84) (New Portland 45) - Man, Somers didn’t waste anytime in busting Borne open. I wasn’t expecting that. I love the little things like Doug hooking on a chinlock and biting the cut at the same time. Way too short to go on the set but it was fun.
