These two had a midcard grudge brewing. I'm normally not a fan of either, but this was a heck of a fight. Basically, Miller wanted to destroy Strongbow's left leg, and Strongbow wanted to destroy Miller's right leg. The whole match consisted of them fighting in a phone booth, and they did a great job selling the leg damage and conveying the hatred that kept each man fighting back. We got a lame Sandy Barr stoppage after Miller appeared to kinda, sorta load his boot. But time was about to expire anyway, and the finish did nothing to detract from the nastiness of the match. Solid nomination.

Jules Strongbow vs. Mike Miller (3/3/84) (New Portland 46)

- If Severus Snape was a wrestler, he would be Mile Miller. I really like Strongbow working on the leg early and then landing an Indian chop to the leg and selling the hand since Miller has a cast on the leg. Nice. The legwork from Miller was mean and nasty. To show he is dumb, Strongbow would try the same stupid chop after making a comeback later on. Fucking idiot. Great selling and leg work by both guys. If this same match happened today between Cesaro and AJ Styles, people would be losing their shit. Nomination!
