Posted November 9, 201311 yr comment_5571726 This was a coal miner's glove match. They brawled from the start. Billy Jack had become a bit more fluid in the ring by this point. They fought to the outside where they battled over a chair. Billy Jack got it and whacked Assassin, who bled through his mask. Back in the ring, Billy went for the glove. But Assassin knocked him off the turnbuckle with a low blow, which Billy Jack really sold. Assassin took advantage and pulled the glove down. Just as he cocked his knockout punch, Billy caught him with a receipt low blow. Billy then grabbed the glove and dropped Assassin to a huge pop from the crowd. Instead of going for the pin, he tried to rip Assassin's mask off. Assassin's henchmen broke that up, and the locker rooms cleared. This was all pretty basic, but I liked the bleeding through the mask and the low-blow payback. They did enough for a nomination. New Portland Disc 50

Great brawling, blood, use of the low blow but the finish blows with Billy Jack going for the mask instead of the pin and the heels all running in and saving Assassin. HE could have gotten the pin and then gone for the mask. Minor complaint.
