Posted November 24, 201311 yr comment_5573914 Kind of a borderline "solid nom" and I've been putting most of those that straddled that fence in the "low end" category but I kind of regret that now and the point is I liked this a lot more than Kris. I really enjoyed the opening of this as Invader III dominated, but he did it by winning a bunch of exchanges with simple things that were delivered with a ton of snap. For example the duck down into a back body drop at the jump looked great, and there was a fast slip out and take down exchange that I thought looked awesome. I also really liked his headbutt off the ropes and the snap on his suplex. Muta's plan being to attack the leg was smart and I agree with Kris in the sense that the work was only basic, but still very effective. I was enjoying this a good bit, but what puts this over the top for me is the last couple of minutes as we get a big Muta bump, an Invader comeback and then a really big missed flip senton off the top. Muta goes for the moonsault which I thought would be the finish, but Invader rolls away, only to turn around right into a small package for the loss. Good finishing sequence and I loved how Invader was selling the leg post match, almost like the torque Muta put on it for the cradle is what cost him.

Invader is engaging Ninja in trying to work his style but Ninja is hemming and hawwing until he catches him with a cheapshot which lets him go on offense but not for long as Invader fires back and he finally starts getting continuous offense on Ninja. Ninja though would get a drop toehold and he would immediately start working over Invader's left leg. The legwork is basic stuff but effective and Invader does a good job of selling it. Invader makes a comeback and now the match starts getting better as he misses a big somersault senton off the top rope followed up by Ninja missing his moonsault but catches Invader in an inside cradle to win. The last couple of minutes were really good but the match as a whole was kinda pedestrian at best.
