There were more than enough clunky spots in this to give me second thoughts about nominating it, but I am a mark for matches with solid heat sections that build to a finish and that was this. Hefferman is funny to look at and really didn't do anything great, but this is a match that benefited a ton from its simple structure. I also liked the nature of Perez hope spots as they were slightly unusual for a face of his type. I was still leaning toward passing on this, but the finish with the heels on the apron teasing involvement, the pay off on that and the nice Perez powerslam makes me at least feel like this should be watched by others.

This starts slow and basic with both men working holds on the mat that felt like it was just being done to do it. Once Heffernan got the heat on Miguel the match got better as Miguel did a good job of selling everything and getting the fans involved. Miguel makes a fun comeback and throws some good punches on Heffernan then Mendoza would jump on the apron holding Miguel but he got popped instead. Miguel then caught Heffernan with a powerslam to win the match. This was a fine little match and this at best is a low-end nomination.
