(8/31/83) Charlie Brown vs. Ben Alexander (8/31/83) Of course Charlie Brown is Valiant. Next we get promos from Slater, Valentine, & Briscos for the Richmond show on 9/23. Jack & Jerry Brisco vs. Keith Larsen & Rick McCord (8/31/83) The faces tried but the Briscos were ruthless here. Then we get a promo from Steamer & Youngblood about the Briscos & Charlie Brown. Jake "The Snake" Roberts & "Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Brett Hart & Gene Ligon (8/31/83) Hart is Barry Horowitz and Slater/Jake is quite a fun team. The jobbers actually got a little bit of offense in as well with Ligon in his singlet looking like a skinny wimpy Dr. Death Steve Williams. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair & Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. "Golden Boy" Jerry Grey & Tom Lintz (8/31/83) Always fun seeing Flair & Wahoo tag together. Next we get promos from Wahoo, Piper, Steamer & Youngblood about the Richmond show on 9/23. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs. Steve Muslin (8/31/83) Orton & Piper comes out to do commentary. Muslin was a glorified jobber in JCP but got small pushes in WWF & GCW under the Steve Travis name. Then we get promos from Orton & Piper with Flair & Wahoo joining them. Flair talking about no one collecting the bounty with Orton standing with him is fun.
