December 15, 201311 yr comment_5576180 I'm not sure exactly why I feel this way, but I think this might be good. Or, at least one of those shows that clears the bar of the low expectations placed on it. Depends how my fantasy football day goes (i.e. whether I'm guaranteed a good payday in my most important league), but I'm leaning strongly toward buying it.
December 15, 201311 yr Author comment_5576181 I wasn't going to go. Houston is 3 hours away but they have had 3 bad PPVs in a row. I can't see them pulling a WCW and doing 4 bad shows. I am hoping the 1 on 3s are going to be straight handicap matches and have some kind of story advancement worth watching.
December 15, 201311 yr comment_5576192 That's kind of my thought, as well. There has to be some reason/plan for the 1-on-3's, right? Hopefully a non-stupid one.
December 15, 201311 yr comment_5576197 I think it's pretty obvious the plan was for the Wyatts to go over Bryan but with RAW Monday it comes into question. I think they will hold serve and have Bryan job after putting up a valiant fight
December 15, 201311 yr comment_5576215 The four way looks pretty interesting. Other than that my main interest is seeing what silly thing happens in the main event.
December 15, 201311 yr comment_5576218 Will it be worth the gas money?Holy shit that title cracked me up! I don't have high expectations. Why are there not one but two 3v1 handicap matches on the same card? Meh, I don't wanna miss it 'cause of the title unification but the bar is low for me.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576219 I don't expect a happy ending tonight. They are setting up Vince to return as the white knight.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576220 I'm a little hyped for this. Haven't watched any WWE since September or so, but am bored and want to see what screwjob happens in the main.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576221 The best version of a hilarious, bizarre, bad WWE finish would be if Orton grabbed the WHC and Cena grabbed the WWE title effectively having them switch championships. I think there's somewhat of a chance of that happening.
December 16, 201311 yr Author comment_5576228 Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango - real fun match that looked pretty painful up close. Yep.. Dolph is Heath Slater.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576229 Dolph vs. Fandango - This was alright. They just went back and forth with stuff to try and get the crowd going. Fandango has a great top rope leg drop.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576230 They've hammered home the one champion deal but I think there is an outside shot that neither man wins and we get a vacant title
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576231 They've hammered home the one champion deal but I think there is an outside shot that neither man wins and we get a vacant titleI'd really hope not since we just had one for a couple months.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576233 I'd honestly rather a bullshit finish than a clean finish with either guy winning, which would just be boring as anything.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576235 When showing Terry Funk's tweet on the show...Lawler just mentioned that Terry was his all-time favorite opponent
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576236 Vince & Stephanie did an interview putting over the main event. The new history is in 1963 when Lou Thesz wrestled Buddy Rogers that both men claimed victory and that's how the two titles broke apart. Oh really Vince and Stephanie
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576237 The best version of a hilarious, bizarre, bad WWE finish would be if Orton grabbed the WHC and Cena grabbed the WWE title effectively having them switch championships. I think there's somewhat of a chance of that happening. Thats what my money has been on ever since they announced this stipulation. If they do actually go through with unification, I am going to be bummed if they drop Big Goldy by the wayside. It is the last vestige of my beloved WCW. Thankfully, business dictates that those title belts they sell are cash cows and the match just reeks of a screwjob finish so I don't think they will actually go through with it.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576238 I was thinking that Cena wins tonight and we get Cena/Bryan II at the Rumble but that seems like a Mania match to me so I expect Orton to win through some sort of shenanigans.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576239 Dolphins1925 says Orton is winning tonight...hrmph! What else did he pick?
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576240 Punk vs. Shield - This was very well booked which led to a good match. I liked Punk out wrestling Ambrose and Rollins to start then big, bad Reigns changing things up into a more aggressive style. I loved Reigns nutty bump and Punk working on the eye. The near falls and close calls were great afterwards and the finish was well done. Good stuff.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576241 Dolphins1925 says Orton is winning tonight...hrmph! What else did he pick? So far just that, Fandango and Punk.
December 16, 201311 yr comment_5576242 Fun stuff, nothing I'd watch again but good for a match that was in itself almost half way a segment as well. Crowd was really into it, augurs well for the night. Sad about the impending breakup but man was that a nice spear to Ambrose.
