Posted December 17, 201311 yr comment_5576447 Gauging some interest if anyone from this site would like to work on a podcast project where we re-watch JUST the Royal Rumble matches and do a quick 30-45 minute review of that Rumble. I know we have a few different websites on here including most notably PlaceToBeNation and I'm totally open to something of a collaborative podcast if you guys would like to as well. Let me know!
December 17, 201311 yr comment_5576450 So if reading correctly, we are thinking of watching all of the Rumble matches and recording reviews of each Rumble match?
December 17, 201311 yr Author comment_5576451 Yup, just the battle royal/Rumble portions. Just thought it'd be something fun to do leading up to the Rumble this year. I'm a total mark for the Rumble, the order of participants, statistics of the Rumble and what not. To avoid being an idiot and doing it myself or writing it down, I thought I'd reach out to people I trust before going out to the general, ugh, public.
December 17, 201311 yr comment_5576463 Hey Rich - we'd love to partner with our friends at VOW. I'll get with Chad and some select members of our staff to see what we can work out.
December 17, 201311 yr Author comment_5576466 Sounds good man. I just responded to your PM and am talking with Chad right now. I have a few other people interested. I'm going to work on a spreadsheet now to see who wants to cover what year, etc. Thanks man!
January 2, 201411 yr Author comment_5578289 It’s the debut episode of the Voices of Wrestling Rumble Rewind looking at the first televised Rumble — Royal Rumble 1988! I’m joined by Chad Campbell of PlaceToBeNation.com to discuss the debut Rumble, the characters involved, best eliminations, strategy and much more! http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2014/01/0...al-rumble-1988/
January 2, 201411 yr comment_5578293 Even though the match is not very good at all, it was interesting to go back to the primitive days of the Rumble and see how unimportant everything felt. This was especially true when contrasting it to 1992 that I watched immediately afterward.
January 2, 201411 yr Author comment_5578298 It's only interesting because it's the first. You like seeing where it all came from but just about anyone can skip this one unless you REALLY want to watch them all. Not much of note happens and even the guys in the match aren't particularly interesting.
January 3, 201411 yr Author comment_5578396 The Voices of Wrestling Rumble Rewind continues with a look at the 2000 Royal Rumble alongside Mark Robinson (@lithiumproject). Mark and I discuss the Rumble participants, the frightening lack of talent depth, Crash Holly, Chyna’s awfulness, Taka Michinoku’s trip to a Chinese hospital, The Rock’s controversial victory and so much more! http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2014/01/0...al-rumble-2000/
January 3, 201411 yr comment_5578425 I didn't remember much from the 2000 Rumble except the botched finish, Taka's splat and the Too Cool stuff. Looks like if I'm in a bind watching all of these, this one is an easy skip though. Mark saying Grand master Sexxay in his accent was wonderful.

January 9, 201411 yr Author comment_5579279 I'm trying to post the new shows on here but I keep getting database errors whenever I include the links. Seems like I can post normally now, so let's see.
