This starts with a fun promo with Gary Hart, Ernie Ladd, & Ivan Koloff ripping on the Moscas.

Baron Von Raschke vs. Gary Royal (1/18/84)

Baron is back and is a babyface this time.

NWA World Heavyweight Title: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair © vs. "Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater (1/11/84)

A rare world title match on TV. This had some good back and forth action to start with Flair looking good working over Slater on the mat. We get a deep clip to the end where Slater tries to piledrive Flair but Roughhouse Fargo gets in the way so Slater knocks him down. Bob Orton Jr. is now at ringside and distracts Flair enough for Slater to hit him with an elbow smash then held Flair's feet as he was pinned. Flair was counted out but Tommy Young came out and reversed the decision and the heels went on the attack even on an injured Jay Youngblood. They used the crutch on both men until Wahoo made the save. Slater then comes out and proclaims that he is the real world champion along with the US champ. Extra material.

Next we get promos from Jones, Assassins, Hart, Koloff, & Slater for the Roanoke show on 1/22.

Then we get a taped promo from Flair who is wearing a suit from the Ron Burgundy collection about the match with Slater.

Don Kernodle & Bob Orton Jr. vs. Brickhouse Brown & Barry Hart (1/18/84)

The champs look good here.

Next we get another promo with Hart, Ladd, & Ivan and Gary is growing his hair out.

Then we get a video from Charlie Brown who amazingly has no beard like Jimmy Valiant. Brown says that he can't be around anymore to defend his NWA World TV Title because he has to help Valiant. Hilarious.

"Big Cat" Ernie Ladd vs. Sam Houston (1/18/84)

Houston gets a tiny bit of shine here trying to work over Ladd's left leg but it was for naught.

Next we get a taped promo from Dusty about helping Valiant.

The Assassins vs. Dory Funk Jr. & Rufus R. Jones (1/18/84)

Johnny Weaver calls this a main event anywhere in the world.....sure....The match was okay for what it was and it ended up with Dory being double teamed until Valiant makes the save where he rips up Assassin #2's mask.

Then we get promos from Wahoo, Valiant, Steamer, & Valentine for the 1/22 show in Roanoke.

"King Kong" Angelo Mosca & Angelo Mosca Jr. vs. Tony Russo & Bill White (1/18/84)

Pretty competitive match.

Next we get a promo from the Youngbloods about the NWA World TV Title tourney and the Moscas.

Dory Funk Jr. & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Ben Alexander & Bill White (1/25/84)

Dory & Valiant are the real Odd Couple that's for sure.

Then we get David Crockett going over the quarterfinal pairings for the NWA World TV Title tournament.

The Assassins vs. Brickhouse Brown & Sam Houston (1/25/84)

Assassins looked good here.

Next we get an angry Paul Jones promo about Valiant.

Then we get promos from Koloff, Jones, & Assassins for the 2/12 show in Roanoke.

Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title: "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff © vs. Angelo Mosca Jr. (1/25/84)

This is a title match with a 10:00 time limit and basically a spotlight match for Jr. Ivan was really good at carrying the green Jr. along here.

Next we get a promo from Slater talking about being the real world champ again.

Then we get a promo from the Moscas about the Ivan match and Jr. getting the PWI Rookie of the Year award which brings out Ivan who attacks the Moscas and breaks the plaque over Jr's head.

Rufus R. Jones vs. Gary Royal (1/25/84)

Easy win for Rufus.

Mark Youngblood vs. Tony Russo (1/25/84)

Wahoo is on commentary here and fairly easy win for Mark.

Next we get promos from the Moscas, Wahoo, & Valiant for the 2/12 show in Roanoke.

"Big Cat" Ernie Ladd vs. John Bonello (1/25/84)

Squash.

Then we get a promo from Dory about the TV Title tourney.

Dory Funk Jr., Rufus R. Jones, & Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Gary Royal, Hans Schroeder, & Bill White (2/1/84)

These are quite the teams.

Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title: "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff © vs. Angelo Mosca Jr. (2/1/84)

This match has a 30:00 time limit playing off last week. The crowd was very hot for this match I'll give them that and Ivan was again so good at carrying Mosca along. Mosca puts on maybe the worst figure-four leglock ever here and it was funny hearing Weaver trying to skirt around it on commentary. Mosca would hit a cross body block off the top rope to win the title as his dad runs in to celebrate afterwards.

Next we get promos from Koloff & Slater about the 2/9 show in Lynchburg.

The Assassins vs. Mark Fleming & Barry Hart (2/1/84)

Squash.

Then we get a promo from Dusty in Florida about helping Valiant.
