I wouldn't consider it taking up that much space. All it really is is a set of instructions for a camera view and moving the characters a bit. It could even be the case that that code was commented out, in which case I can't see the fault laying in the developers hands.

 

If that had happened at my work, I'd not be bothered by the code remaining, as there may be *some* use for it at some point.
