Posted March 14, 200520 yr comment_1202361 I have this cute picture of my son that I want to impose over a pond / water lily background. (It's a picture of him in his halloween costume.) The trouble is that: 1. I have NO idea how to really do it. 2. I don't know what to use. 3. I don't know how to make it look either realistic, or at least in good quality. Anyone know of any programs that I may be able to use? Or just have any help in general?
March 15, 200520 yr comment_1216502 Unfortunately, I can only give you the stock answers of "Grab Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro." Of course, those are fairly expensive programs and I'm not aware of any open source alternatives for photo editing that would work for you - I'll try to drop by SourceForge and see if I can find anything that would work.
March 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1217218 Thank you, kind sir. I downloaded PhotoImpact and I am trying to get Paint Shop Pro. Only thing is, I can't seem to figure PhotoImpact out, heh. I'll keep trying.
March 16, 200520 yr comment_1226962 DL the Paint Shop Pro trial edition. It's what my girlfriend used before and you get to keep it for three months free so it's not a bad choice. http://www.myimager.com is a decent online photo manipulation and editing tool.
