Patch 1.11 came out on last Monday. The ladder restarts sometime today. Just thought I'd give you cats the heads-up.

The new patch includes new Uber Bosses. You can read about it at Battle.Net

Basically, in hell difficulty, The Summoner, The Countess and Nehilithak all drop "keys." When you get the keys, you transmute them in the cube and they open a portal. In the portal can either be uber Izual, Lillith (which is Andariel) or Duriel. When you kill them, they give you a body part. Then you redo it all over again to get a different body part (which means you'll have to fight the two bosses that you haven't fought yet). When you get all three body parts, you transmute them and it opens uber Tristam where you fight uber Diablo, Baal and Mephisto all at the same time. They give you a charm that gives +3 to a random skill plus some other shit. Pretty cool. The idea is similar to Simon's Quest. :)

There's no way in hell that I could play that game nowadays, with what limited time that I had.

Though, ultimately, if I were to come back, now would be the time - there's been half a dozen patches since I've played and any characters that I would have to worry about getting nerfed by the patch would have already been deleted. Why not start fresh?
