Handicap Match: Harley Rave vs. Fritz & David Von Erich (5/27/79)

The rules are that Harley must beat each man to eliminate them from title competition but if he loses to one of them then they get a title shot. David starts out first although Fritz tried to start but relented. David gets some fast nearfalls early on that has Harley reeling and keeps up the pressure with a grounded headlock that lasts a while. Race uses a cheapshot to send David to the floor where he tried a piledriver but DVE counters with a backdrop to the floor. Every time Race had a chance to take control, DVE would counter him and it clearly frustrated Race but he persisted and would get control then would methodically work him over. Race would try a diving headbutt off the middle rope but DVE caught him with an iron claw and cinched it in tight. Race is now juicing from the claw but still fights back until he passes out giving DVE a huge upset victory. Fritz & Kevin celebrate afterwards and David is now a made man in St. Louis. We get promos afterwards and this was really fun as well as an important match so this is a definite for the 70's set.

Next we get clips of Harley defending his title around the world.

Then we get clips of Moolah, Dory, & Flair.

Handicap Match: Bobo Brazil vs. Pierre Bonnett & Jack Kruger (5/20/79)

Bobo wins easily in a regular handicap match.

Next we get a video of Andre/Brody matches.

Then we get some stuff from 1962 with Joe Garagiola on commentary from the old ballroom at the Chase Hotel. This is awesome to watch especially Pat O'Connor doing moves on Joe.

Next we get Matsyik interviewing Kevin Von Erich after a match with Ron Starr and in the vain of Joe, Larry volunteers to take KVE's bodyscissors (10/14/79)

"Bulldog" Bob Brown & "Dirty" Dick Murdoch vs. "Big Thunder" Gene Kiniski & Kevin Von Erich (10/21/79)

Kiniski & Brown look like fucking mirror images here. Fun watching Murdoch & KVE working against each other because it didn't happen often. This was a fun all-action match with even Kiniski & Brown working hard that ends up going to a DDQ with an angry promo by Murdoch afterwards.

Kevin Von Erich vs. "Dirty" Dick Murdoch (10/28/79)

This spawned from the match last week and is a preview of their Kiel match the next Friday night. The early part of this was worked on the mat with both men trading the advantage before the battle goes to the floor where Murdoch roughhouses him but KVE makes a comeback when back in the ring. KVE hangs with Dick as the action picks up with both men throwing out the strikes on each other. Murdoch hits his brainbuster but Kevin bounces right up and takes it back to Murdoch getting the iron claw on him but Dick had a great counter as he jumped on the top rope and sent them both over to break the hold. Dick then grabbed the mic cable and started choking KVE but he still was able to get the claw back on him until Bob Brown ran in for the DQ. Gene Kiniski and the others would run out to make the save. This was helluva match and another definite for the 70's set.

"Bulldog" Bob Brown vs. Chris Curtis (9/9/79)

Easy win for Bob.

Spike Huber & Pat O'Connor vs. "Nature Boy" Roger Kirby & "Bruiser" Bob Sweetan (9/9/79)

Decent match that goes to a draw.

Debbie Combs vs. Kay Roberts (9/9/79)

Combs gets the hard fought win.
