August 25, 200520 yr comment_3260650 Mulder v. the Nats on Sat please. Too bad I missed making a Wed. pick because of my work schedule.
August 25, 200520 yr comment_3261211 I'll take Jose Contreras against Seattle. John Patterson's score = 57.3 but had a W, giving me 9 points on the season.
August 25, 200520 yr Author comment_3261645 How do you get 57.3? You can't get a decimal with this system.
August 25, 200520 yr comment_3261879 Whoops, messed up on the outs part (since he pitched 8.1 IP, I did 8.1*3 rather than 8*3 + 1), it should be 58.
August 25, 200520 yr comment_3261950 Not all the starters are official, though! Blasphemy! Meh, whatever. I'll take Jaret Wright.
August 25, 200520 yr Author comment_3263075 Not all the starters are official, though! Blasphemy! Meh, whatever. I'll take Jaret Wright. Technically, starters are never "official" until the manager hands his lineup card to the umpire. I've toyed with a few ideas on how to handle it, but there's nothing easy. I don't want to see posters jumping the gun by picking someone like Felix Hernandez four days early.
August 25, 200520 yr comment_3263534 Gah, there's nothing left. Fuck it, I'll take Arroyo vs. Detroit.
August 26, 200520 yr comment_3266883 Aw sonuva... >_< Well now I'm just flipping SCREWED. As well as an idiot.
August 26, 200520 yr comment_3267905 Hence why I said I was screwed. I don't like my chances on many or any of those pitchers left... >_< Ugh.... I'll hafta think it over tomorrow.
August 26, 200520 yr comment_3268030 I'll take Joe Blanton against the Orioles. Joe Kennedy is the probable. As for me, I choose Glavine.
August 26, 200520 yr comment_3269289 ESPN said Blanton two days ago, and now no one is listed. Not a good sign. There aren't many options left, so I'm just going to roll the dice. Can I just have the A's starter?
August 26, 200520 yr comment_3272627 Helling vs. Atlanta. ...I'm so never gonna get a point at this rate.

August 28, 200520 yr comment_3282747 Helling vs. Atlanta. ...I'm so never gonna get a point at this rate. Nope. And I think I ended up with 60 for Smoltz, but got 3 points for the win. I'm not sure, but if whoever picked Mulder gets Marquis' stats instead, they'd probably win.
August 28, 200520 yr comment_3283015 I dunno - I think Schmidt vs. the Mets might trump Marquis' outing, even with the complete game shutout, just because Marquis didn't get a lot of strikeouts. EDIT - Nevermind, didn't even catch that Schmidt walked five today. Good lord. Millwood had a nice outing but, once again, got completely let down by his offense. What a drag.
August 28, 200520 yr comment_3283209 How about changing using pitchers once to only using a certain team once? Especially since we only have five weeks of baseball left.
August 28, 200520 yr Author comment_3285074 Sounds good. Here's what we have from this point forward. Each person may only select a pitcher from the same team once. In addition, I'm switching this to Saturdays only, because I start college tomorrow, and I don't want to commit a ton of time the rest of the way. Updated results coming soon.
