Padres ace Jake Peavy will miss his next scheduled start due to because of pain in his right shoulder, reports the Associated Press. He has felt pain in the area during each of his last two starts and it is unlikely he will pitch again for a week. "I guess the doctor's choice is to let this thing rest and hopefully I'll be at full strength here," Peavy said Thursday night. "I wasn't at full strength Sunday and I'm not going to help anybody by going out there and having to worry about how long I can go."

So you people hafta choose again.

I'll take Mark Prior.

I almost didn't take Peavy originally due to fears of him skipping the game, with Peavy out i'll take a gamble with Kameron Loe vs Oakland.

Blah.
