After the Ginnetty Order, I am highly considering purchasing the previous 24 Mid South House shows. Some may be taken off depending on which ones Dan has. I think they run about an hour each and are $9.95. This is all conjecture on my part. However, I am guessing this would be about 12-15 discs after conversion. If you want to go in on a bulk buy, I can collect the tapes and we can have some massive footage on our hands.

I would def go in on these.

 

Though remember, Dan probably already has a lot of these as well, so we can just get from him.

Yeah, I already looked through the list and found several of them that I am going to pick up and trasnfer from Dan first including the Butch Reed - Flair match and Terry Taylor-Ric Flair. However, he has alot less than I though he would. In the end, it will probably be about 14-16 of these shows.

Count me in for this too, I'll chuck some money in.

OK, that is three of us. If we get 1-2 more people then it wouldn't cost very much at all. I may do this WHILE converting the Ginnetty tapes since there will inevitably be lulls between sending and receiving tapes. I'll ask Dan what he has first and we'll act from there.

Do you know if Barnett received his coies directly from this source or if he got them through other means? If the source is the same then I agree. If the VQ has the potential to pick up substantially then we may want to consider replacing that footage. Also, sek has the link in the wrestling folder. Look around. If there are house shows that you or anyone else is interested in that I did not list, then by all means include them.

If there are 15 discs apiece, to be honest, I can probably knock it out pretty fast. I've knocked out as many as 200 discs in a week before so this may not be too bad. The only thing I ask is that guys consider the cost of blanks in the final price.

I added 4 more shows that I put in orange to indicate the change. If Bruiser and teke are in then I will put them on the order since the price will not alter that much between 9 people.

After teke and Bruiser respond with definite responses, I'll give you guys a final price. I am estimating that it will be right around $40 for everyone. I am going to average the price of the order along with the cost of discs and media shipping. I will, however, ship priority so I will cover that cost for everyone but shipping for 9 people would cost me about $60 easily so I'll need help there. The only thing I ask is that everyone be patient with the order and that I will start pounding it out as soon as the tapes arrive. As Tim said, it may take a couple of months to just arrive.

From what I have heard, it is easily 4 weeks wait, maybe longer. But never heard of anyone who wasn't satisfied but have heard their customer service blows as well.

I filled in the shopping cart to see how much shipping would cost. Shipping for $26 tapes cost $40 so the total for 26 tapes is $298.

 

Divided by 9 (with Bruiser) that would be $33. I figure each tape is an hour apiece which would fit 2 shows per blank disc. so add $6 for discs per person. Then shipping out to you guys would be $3 per person. For 9 people, that is $42 per person as a total. Since we are getting $300 worth of stuff that is a huge savings. If this is too much for anyone then I need to know. If it costs more for any reason, I'll cover the cost. Anyway, once I get word from Bruiser, I'll tell you guys when to send the moolah. Once I get enough to purchase, I'll purchase the tapes and then all we have to do is wait.

 

If Bruiser doesn't join then I'll drop the orange tapes and it will probably still be about the same.
