Posted February 20, 201411 yr comment_5589145 Missouri Heavyweight Title: Ken Patera © vs. Dewey Robertson (11/29/81) Always fun to see a title defense on TV. Dewey looks like damn Patera's twin brother although with brown hair here. Dewey frustrated Patera early on as he fought back from everything Patera tried to throw at him and had a cool counter to a Patera monkey flip by kneeing him in the taint. Patera though would finally get the advantage by working over Dewey's back setting up the full-nelson but again Dewey was pesky as he constantly fought back. Dewey then came firing back with shots and had Patera reeling but he would lock on the full-nelson although Dewey countered out of it before hitting an Oklahoma Stampede for a nearfall. Patera then got a nearfall of his own with an inside cradle and this has become a total slugfest with both men getting nearfalls before time ran out for a draw. This was a damn good match and a fairly solid nomination.
