They should do some new Legends Roundtable shows with Hogan now that he's back. I would love to hear the bullshit that he would make up.

They need to wait until Taker retires so they can be on the roundtable together and talk about when he broke Hogan's neck in 74'.

Good Lord, I watched that "Memorable Moments" with Flair last night. What a train wreck. At one point, I was trying to figure out if he was being gracious to Taz or a jackass. Taz said he was the first person to give the middle finger on tv and didn't want to toot his own horn. Flair said, "go ahead, bro, that's why we're here..."

The things I've noticed the Roku 3 is having problems uploading like the Old School Shows, The WCCW 83 shows, and the Legend show that took place in 2009 is that the Roku doesn't have the year header so I'm thinking their is a glitch in that way. For example we got the new 91 house show because their is a 91 header. Just an idea.

There's a hot rumour going around that WWE purchased another video library.

It ain't Memphis because that library is spread out everywhere.....WWC would be a top choice or maybe they finally got Matysik to sell his St. Louis stuff

I know the ancestry of the Memphis library is complicated and lengthy but apparently if it is MemphisCorey Macklin's death ended a huge stumbling block.

What else could it be besides one of those two, or St Louis? Vince now has UWF. Does have Portland?

David Woods still owns the Continental footage but I've never even heard of that being on their radar. Buying WWC footage would be a nice way to try and market The Network to Spanish speaking audiences, and a lot of the 80s stuff has plenty of American stars as well.

I honestly wouldn't mind them buying Glow. Despite the wrestling be bad and the skits being cheesy it can be a fun watch in small doses.

I would have to bet on WWC if forced, and St. Louis after that. But I think World of Sport is a dark horse possibility.

At this point, it doesn't matter,even though they usually rewrite history. They tend to clean up the footage and make it very watchable -- I'll take anything I can get.

Maybe the rumours of their being a stockpile of Toronto footage was true, and it's that stuff.

 

Bruiser's wife was still sitting on the WWA tape library last I heard. Could be that one, too.

Is there a thread about non-WWE owned tape libraries on here? If not, there really should be, interesting stuff.

Another cool one would be Houston. A couple of years ago R. Bruce Tharpe posted on KM that all the Houston shows exist from the 70's on up. He sounded like some sort of deal was going to happen, but I never heard another word about it.

Of the available libraries, Houston is really the only one that I think is something they could market. I don't know that the other libraries have much value to them unless they contain lots of matches featuring big American stars.

I actually think if they bought something tomorrow, they could market it, just like that, regardless of what it was. They could put it on the network as a focused thing. I feel like most people under 25 don't really know who most of the people on the WCCW shows are. Even the Von Erichs. That doesn't mean anything to them. They could push the St. Louis stuff as "not seen in decades" or something and it would feel important because they make it feel important, regardless of the actual quality or historical importance.

Probably a chance of zilch with this, but what about the library of a shoot interview company? Doesn't RF claim to have rights to a bunch of the ECW stuff?

I'm watching Great American Bash 90', and it's easily the most fun I've had with the network. I was going to go through all of the ECW ppvs, but I've seen three and they're just a bummer. Definitely working through 90-97 WCW instead.

Watching Halloween Havoc '92. You can really hear the tension between Jesse Ventura and Jim Ross.

A new Legends of Wrestling roundtable is now up: Monday Night Raw. At an hour and thirty-six minutes, it's the longest of the bunch. Honestly, it feels slow and bloated. For such a lengthy show, it covers very little. 20 minutes about Twitter really doesn't help.

 

Road Dogg has been added to the panel, and he's not bad, but no one really brought their a-game to this episode IMO.

 

Maybe it's just me though. I've watched every episode of this on the Network over the past couple of weeks, so I might be burned out on the format. Would be interested in other people's impressions.
