March 31, 201510 yr comment_5662587 I'd be more inclined to agree it was an actual TV channel, but it's a subscription service catering to a niche interest. No way is anyone signing up to what they'll still see as a wrestling network just because Jerry Springer and Seth Green have daft little wrestling-related shows on it.
April 1, 201510 yr comment_5662595 Seems more like Vince's deep seeded desire to be seen as more than a "rasslin' promoter", so now we have to deal with the WWE Network getting flooded with shows no one would possibly care about/watch more than once.
April 1, 201510 yr comment_5662599 Eh, whatever. Just don't watch it. I probably won't watch any of it, but I don't begrudge them for making some different stuff and throwing it on the Network.
April 1, 201510 yr comment_5662602 I love Robot Chicken, so I'm willing to give Seth Green's show a chance.
April 1, 201510 yr comment_5662639 They added that missing Raw from September to almost be consistent. They're still missing the 1/1/96 episode.
April 1, 201510 yr comment_5662644 They added that missing Raw from September to almost be consistent. They're still missing the 1/1/96 episode. If I remember correctly 1/1/96 was a year in review show or something and they just aired a ppv match from 95.
April 1, 201510 yr comment_5662646 1/1/96 was the Raw Bowl show, and as I recall it's missing due to music issues.
April 1, 201510 yr comment_5662647 1,000 hours of wrestling content? Where was that in the release? It's on the Observer site. Where did you find this, btw? Not doubting you, I just don't see it anywhere.

April 2, 201510 yr comment_5662899 Eh, whatever. Just don't watch it. I probably won't watch any of it, but I don't begrudge them for making some different stuff and throwing it on the Network. Eh, whatever. See, I can be lazily dismissive too! I wasn't being lazy. It just seemed like a silly thing to complain about. It's like, I pay for my DirecTV package. There's a shitload of channels on there that I don't watch or even know what they are. I just don't watch them. They are options, but that's all. Just like this. It's just coming from such a place of base WWE hate.
April 2, 201510 yr comment_5662901 I'm going to watch the piss out of Corey Graves trying food ALL OVER THE WORLD! As someone who genuinely enjoy's No Reservations, this show could fill that niche with some wrestling bits mixed in. Not sure if it'll be mini-segments or full-on shows though if it is the latter then I already am not having high expectations for decent new content that doesn't involve lazily approaching decade old pop culture people. Also, any news on what stuff they're going to do for Rivalries? I know they'll have new episodes was just interested in what since I'm pulling for non-WWE ones.
April 2, 201510 yr comment_5662902 ....or it could be coming from a place where other specialized sports networks like NFL/NHL/MLB or even streaming services like Fight Pass don't flood themselves with content not related to the core sport/brand/whatever. Not everything stems from WWE hate.

If I remember correctly 1/1/96 was a year in review show or something and they just aired a ppv match from 95. I think the Raw Bowl was 1/1/96 and the week before they aired the Bulldog-Bret match and spent all week hyping that you would see a five-alarm blade job on cable TV. Just a few weeks before Vince sent his Strongly Worded Letter to Turner about the grotesque self-mutiliation taking place on Nitro.
April 2, 201510 yr comment_5662975 How much footage did they air from Wrestlemania weekend on the Network? From what ive seen WWE Wrestlemania Kickoff 2hrs WWE Wrestlemania 4hrs WWE Hall of Fame 4hrs WWE Hall of Fame Red Carpet 40 mins WWE Wrestlemania Today Thurs & Fri 4hrs I did see 4 Wrestlemania videos that ranged from 4 - 11 minutes showing the arena before the event started with interviews. Did WWE release anything else or is that it?
April 9, 201510 yr comment_5664232 Apparently we're getting a whole bunch of attitude era stuff come Monday: http://www.reddit.com/r/wwenetwork/comments/31p8hp/attitude_era_raws_to_be_uploaded_next_week/
April 13, 201510 yr comment_5664773 Doesn't the fact they are in their own section indicate that they are going to be taken down? Why do that? Why not just add them to the main Raw section?
April 13, 201510 yr comment_5664776 Doesn't the fact they are in their own section indicate that they are going to be taken down? Why do that? Why not just add them to the main Raw section? Maybe because that has been a constant request that they felt "obligated" to do notify subscribers and users (this month is free) what stuff is considered part of the official Attitude Era.
April 13, 201510 yr comment_5664779 My guess is that they probably think (and rightfully so) that some people wouldn't notice if they were silently uploaded in their folders. It's kind of ridiculous that there's nowhere on the network itself to see what has been uploaded recently. I know that there's a reddit bot and a twitter bot out there... but the latter has got only 3000 subscribers.
April 13, 201510 yr comment_5664796 I see the Raws post-Survivor Series 97 are up but they've left the whole of 97 blank. That's one of their best years, even if it's not pushed as heavily as 98. I hope they fill that gap soon. Hopefully along with 1997 Nitros.
April 13, 201510 yr comment_5664799 For what it's worth, whenever they put up a temporary section and then take it down, the usual deal seems to be that anything that can fit into an existing section (eg World Class TV) gets moved there and everything else gets deleted. Of course, there's no real reason to delete anything. I get the horrible impression they've set the menu structure up so that there's a limit on how many sections they can have and how many things can be displayed in each section. As I've previously mentioned, there are a few things such as the 1993 and 1994 Hall of Fame that are still up there (and can be accessed if you have the URL) but can't be accessed through any of the menus.

April 14, 201510 yr comment_5664816 Complete list in chronological order: http://www.reddit.com/r/wwenetwork/wiki/wwe_network_shows#wiki_1994 Hall of Fame section from a different site, which has stuff in the same sections as the Network itself: http://returntotherunway.com/wwenetwork/getCategory.php?category=Wwe%20Hall%20Of%20Fame On the latter, you need to click on the eye icon to the left to go to the relevant WWE Network page. For stuff that's been deleted you'll still get a page, with listing, on WWE Network but the video will just bring up an error message. Note also on the latter you can not only choose 'Wrestlers' to get a list of all the matches a guy has on the network, but you can then go to 'rivals and partners' to get all their matches against a particular person, in date order, including tags, and without spoilers. Why WWE can't do this is another matter...
April 14, 201510 yr comment_5664841 Decided to watch a 98 Raw while it's up there, popped in the night after KOTR. Some thoughts: Physically, Regal looks horrible. But even if he was in shape, I don't think there's a chance in hell his style gets over in front of a 1998 WWF crowd. Everything the DOA gets involved in is terrible. Ken Shamrock is seriously the most uncoordinated, dangerous looking wrestler of all time. He's trying, but there's such a recklessness to everything he does. It's kind of uncomfortable to watch. I haven't seen any of the Brawl For All stuff since it aired. I'll admit, I kind of liked it. Some of these match ups are interesting to watch with the proper context. You can tell Steve Blackman is winning his match as diplomatically as possible. IIRC, he dropped out after the first round because he thought it was ridiculous. Such a bizarre experiment. They DON'T EVEN MENTION Mankind getting tossed off the cell the night before. There's some brief lip service to it in the main event and Foley is in a backstage segment with Kane and Paul Bearer, besides that, nothing. This completely shocked me given how important the incident is in WWE lore.
