So... I've bought a new computer on saturday and the Network ist utterly screwing. While the site is loading properly and quicker than before even, The video I want to watch on Demand starts and stops about 20 sec. in, the quality gets to shitty as hell, it runs for a few seconds and freezes again, and son on... Tried Opera, Chrome, IE and Firefox. On my old PC I had the same issue only with Opera, and not THIS bad, but Chrome worked perfectly.

Any suggestions? If I can't get this fixed, the Network's of no use for me...

They continue to upload episodes of NXT without time-stamps... it's really annoying.

I am more annoyed that the NXT pre-Network shows are completely gone. Not even on Hulu anymore. But yeah it stinks

So was the Edge and Christian reference to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the first Meltzer reference on a WWF/WWE show? I mean besides the usual terms like "dirt sheets" or "newsletters" Not sure which was more surprising/awesome that reference or the CM Punk in UFC part.

Try clearing cookies for the site. I remember that fixing my past issues.

Does the Network site still use Flash? Hopefully not. But if it does, maybe see if there's a Flash upgrade?

(Flash is buggy, dangerous, a piece of shit, and I wish sites would stop using it. YouTube, for example, functions perfectly without it.)

I think Flair talked the least in the Table for 3 episode. Anderson was the bitter old man, Tully came off the best imo.

I finally watched it. I don't think Arn came across as bitter, but he did have a little of the "back in my day" syndrome we usually see in old-timers. Overall, he seemed really detached from his earlier lifestyle and friendships. He obviously cherished them, but he's also moved on to a different phase of his life.

Flair didn't have much to say. Probably afraid of his own shadow at this point, so he's censoring himself IMO.

It was refreshing to hear Tully admit that giving talks in prisons wasn't ever his dream job. Much more sincere than most of the "religious" ex-wrestlers.

Overall, this was okay for what it was, but it wasn't great if you were expecting amazing stories and charisma flying through the screen.

I also watched the Roman Reigns/Dean Ambrose version of Ride Along, but I ended up turning it off. I liked the first episode, but the subsequent ones have been beyond boring. What's the point?

After that, I gave the Edge and Christian Show another shot. While I remain only mildly amused, it is growing on me. A fun time-waster, if nothing else.

Just watched Camp WWE. Might be the worst pile of hot garbage I've ever seen. Swerved was a poor man's candid camera, but this show isn't even comparable to the popular adult cartoons like Family Guy and South Park. I strongly disliked this show. I like crude if it's funny. But what is funny about Ric Flair fucking a tire and a rock?

Arn doesn't come off bitter as well but he definitely has the Al Snow "these kids today don't understand how good they got it" mentality.

You should watch some shoot clips of Al Snow on YouTube, if you haven't already. Completely changed my opinion of him. What a bitter, disgruntled, unhappy little man - and he throws around the "r" word like it's going out of style. Not a good look in today's climate.

I won't disagree with the bitter and disgruntled stuff. Sounds like a fair assessment of Snow's attitude in A LOT of his shoot appearances. But the guy's actually got a fairly brilliant mind for the business. Even when his talking points NOW don't line up with his past performances, he's perfectly willing to admit that he didn't fully grasp or understand back then what he knows now.

Plus, in retrospect, it's pretty easy to see why or how he got to be so bitter in the first place. At one point, the guy was the indie work-rate darling. Then, he went beyond that and became one of the most complete heels in the business - at least for a brief, fleeting point in time. He evolved beyond being just the work-rate guy and became a heat-seeking talker.

And when he finally got his big break, it was as the Avatar ninja or whateverthefuck. Then it was a Rocker clone. It'd be fairly easy to understand if that shook his confidence. Either way, even with the Head gimmick, he never really regained the same stride afterwards.

Just watched the net Table for 3 with Pat Patterson, Hillbilly Jim and Ricky Steamboat.

This was really enjoyable. They all seemed like they were having a good time and just sharing some old stories, really felt natural. And especially that story with the snake was just hilarious.

Oh btw. Ricky still looks like he could jump in the ring right now nd have a 30 minute match wirhout any problems.

It only now occurred to me that Patterson lived through the HIV epidemic in New York City.

I wish Patterson put out a book. I can't imagine many wrestlers who have more interesting stories to tell and I feel his knowledge has barely been scratched.

I'll wait for reviews as some skepticism is required of a WWE book, but loads of potential here. The length is a little concerning. You'd think there's no shortage of material. Backlund's went much longer and was a breeze.

Oh man, decided to watch this last night and I agree, Camp WWE is utter tripe. Just painfully unfunny, bar the Sgt Slaughter bits which raised a small smile. It even looks terrible - Stone Cold is a queasy shade of off-white and someone seems to have submitted a drawing on Kevin von Erich in lieu of Triple H

Well for one thing, it was an epidemic everywhere and it's not like Pat was running around fucking everyone he could. From all accounts he had a long time partner.

Can't speak for what exactly Al meant, but I thought he meant that Pat probably had friends, or knew some people that sadly passed away during that traumatizing time period.
