Elimination Match: Art Crews, "Big Thunder" Gene Kiniski, & Ricky Romero vs. Max Blue, Roger Kirby, & Gene Lewis (4/15/82)

Kiniski was fun as the old brawler and Crews did good work as the FIP but the rest of the match was nothing special.

Kiniski cuts a promo afterwards talking about his upcoming match with Flair and how they are total opposites which ain't no lie brother.

Roger Kirby vs. Mark Romero (5/23/82)

Decent match that went to a draw especially considering that Mark was just months into his career.

Next we get a Ted DiBiase set to Physical by Olivia Newton-John and this is a definite extra.

Bulldog Bob Brown & Dick the Bruiser vs. Jerry Brown & "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (5/23/82)

Jerry Brown looks so old here and the fans are apeshit for Bruiser. This was a lot of damn fun just for the Flair/Bruiser stuff as the work itself wasn't what you would call good but the fans were nuts for it and Flair was so damn good at selling for Bruiser's antics. Flair was also fun working against Bulldog Bob which shows how really great he was having making these two look as strong as he did. Bruiser kicking Flair into the ringside table as he tried to wrap his leg around the post then piledriving a bloody Flair on the floor for the countout was a fun finish. This may not have been technically good but I thought it was a blast and I'm throwing it on the block as a low-ed nomination.

Dewey Robertson vs. Ron McFarlane (5/23/82)

Spotlight match for Dewey.

Rufus R. Jones & Kerry Von Erich vs. Ray Hernandez & Joe Kirkland (5/23/82)

Ray is of course Hercules but with a shaved head and here is another Rufus/Kerry match as a team. This is a short match but this is the match where Larry Matysik gave Hernandez the Hercules name on commentary.

Ken Patera vs. Joe Kirkland (6/6/82)

Fairly easy win for Patera and he almost takes Kirkland's head off with a Harley Race high knee.

Then we get a Blackwell squash from the AWA.

"Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Art Crews (6/6/82)

Flair is having a competitive match with Crews here before Bruiser comes out and steals Flair's robe & NWA belt which Flair never saw. Bruiser would then walk out with the robe on holding the belt which incensed Flair but Crews is keeping him away from Bruiser at all costs. Bruiser eventually gets in the ring dancing with the robe on before taking it off and stomping on it before throwing it into the crowd. Crews still has Flair occupied but Flair would eventually make Crews submit to the figure-four then went nuts afterwards with Matysik. Slam dunk extra material.

Dick the Bruiser vs. Hercules Hernandez (6/6/82)

Hernandez goes after Bruiser at the bell but he chunks him to the floor then bashes him head first twice into the bell then throws a water pitcher on his head. Bruiser is nuts here and finishes Hernandez very quickly then cuts a promo afterwards about Flair.

Mike George, Rufus R. Jones, & Dewey Robertson vs. Jerry Brown, Roger Kirby, & David Price (6/6/82)

This is a hodgepodge of wrestlers for sure and the best part of this is the fans chanting for Bruiser....it's like WWE fans in 2014 but in St. Louis 32 years earlier.

Bob Orton Jr. vs. Bruce Dean (February 1983)

Easy win for Orton.

Then we get clips of a Rick Martel/Steve O squash from the AWA.

Bulldog Bob Brown & Bill Cody vs. Rooster Griffin & Dewey Robertson (February 1983)

WOW the talent level for St. Louis TV was falling hard mainly because Bob Geigel was pushing for his Central States talent to be booked more on TV.
