Posted March 14, 201411 yr comment_5594275 In this new episode of the Place to Be Podcast, our good friend Kevin Kelly stops by to talk about the second half of 2001, including discussions on The Invasion, SummerSlam, the influx of WCW/ECW talent, Kurt Angle's face run, 9/11 and what it was like to be in the company on that day and much more. Kevin discusses whether he thinks the Invasion angle reached its true potential in this pivotal point in WWF history. March 14, 201411 yr comment_5594354 This is semi-related and if you can't find it I won't hold it against you. Is there an active link for the No Way Out 2000 podcast? I think it was PTB 237. I started with 1999 and I'm enjoying the PPV recaps in order. NWO 2000 just won't download on iTunes for me. I've tried going through iTunes and the PTB site. I can't even get the "download" link to work without getting an ERROR 404 response from the site itself. Thanks.
March 14, 201411 yr Author comment_5594355 Ryan, sometimes the files go dead via podbean and I have no idea why. I need to reupload it, will do it tonight and report back. Thanks!
March 17, 201411 yr Author comment_5594723 Ryan, sorry for the delay, but the episode should be working now. Thank you!
March 17, 201411 yr comment_5594733 Cool - Thanks. I can't remember which episode it was but I busted out laughing with the "Little Man Big Man Best Friend Combo' back in the 1999 recaps. 1999 still sounds as bad as I remember it. It convinced me to focus on ECW and get my first tapes of lucha and puro.
March 17, 201411 yr Author comment_5594738 Haha nice! Yeah 1999 was a real mess. Amazing that the company was so damn hot, but rough to watch back.
March 20, 201411 yr comment_5595190 I have to say I really enjoyed the two episodes of Kevin Kelly on 2001. Now I have downloaded all of his shows and guest appearances cause Kelly is interesting character and a guy I remembered watching wrestling when I was younger. Great work.
March 20, 201411 yr Author comment_5595192 Thank you! Glad you enjoyed, KK is a cool dude and very open and honest whenever he is on.
