April 11, 201411 yr comment_5598689 I fully expected Doink to beat Crush, to be honest. Back then, the WWF seemed to have an unwritten rule that the "new wrestler" always won his first big PPV match/feud.
April 11, 201411 yr comment_5598702 What about Edge beating Alberto Del Rio? Not only was I sure that Del Rio would win, the booking made no sense and I think this loss is why Del Rio has floundered as a main event heel. When a guy is built up for months by talking about how it's his destiny to win the title and loses in his first chance, it would seem hard to find a good direction for him after that. Yeah, this is a good one. I think the feeling behind this outcome was that Del Rio hadn't taken off as WWE had intended, and with Miz retaining in the main event, they perhaps thought that at least one face needed to leave as a World Champion? That's my theory anyway. Had Edge not retired, I could see Christian turning on him at Extreme Rule and allowing Del Rio to capture the title. This would then set up the much anticipated feud between Edge and Christian.
April 13, 201411 yr comment_5599008 How about Too Cool and Chyna beating the Radicalz at Wrestlemania 2000? At the same event, I also didn't see HHH coming out of that fatal-four-way as champ at the time, seemed like The Rock would be the winner.
April 13, 201411 yr comment_5599009 Meaningless and totally forgettable match, but I was really surprised Kane went over Orton a couple of years ago.
April 13, 201411 yr comment_5599027 HHH over Booker T for me. That whole feud was a textbook set up for the heel to get his at the big show. HHH doing the race shit and then pretty much being proven right was really strange.
