Posted September 16, 200520 yr comment_3444777 In a couple of weeks, the book "Pain and Passion" will be released. I mentioned it in a previous WO update and it is going to be a comprehensive history of the Stampede prmotion. Meltz says it is in the elite class of books on wrestling. Since I have been accumulating some Stampede with more on the way, I am really interested in this book. One catch... Meltz says there is no U.S. release being planned. So, which of our friendly neighbors to the North is willing to accept my U.S. dollars and send me a copy?

September 16, 200520 yr comment_3445017 Amazon.ca can ship to virtually any address in the world. No Jim. I'm sorry, but I think they don't ship it anywhere but to us Canadian folks. Because we're mean like that.
September 16, 200520 yr comment_3447087 I use Amazon UK all the time. I have to believe Amazon Canada would ship anywhere. AMazon Japan does as well.
September 16, 200520 yr comment_3447213 Amazon.ca does indeed ship to the states...and you'll probably save money on it too.

Anyone else talk about Stampede in their books? Man, I can't wait for Bret's book.

September 17, 200520 yr Author comment_3454469 I still haven't read Dynamite's book. However, to have a chapter on Stampede compared to an entire history? This one looks like a necessary purchase. Oh also, what does 28 dollars Canadian translate into in American dollars?
September 18, 200520 yr comment_3458099 Let's see. I think the dollar's at .8453 cents US so that'd be 28(.8453) = $23.6684 American
